This beautiful fox is a wild fox, but obviously not skittish. It climbed up on this stump and curled up to watch the world go by, just 15 feet from my car (and myself standing behind my car).

I heard a fox sparrow calling, but it took me quite a while to spot it. Although it's in the open here, it was between two large clumps of blackberries, so out of sight except from this one view. Fortunately, this view had a decent background!
Fox and Cubs are an hardy perennial wild flower, often spotted in hedgerows...
Thank you for the visits and comment's my friends, they are much appreciated...
It must have been a good dream, it looks as though this fox is smiling as it wakes up from a nap.
It is amazing that a fox can sleep comfortably in temperatures well below freezing. It's common to see a fox sound asleep on top of the snow, especially on sunny spring days.
Chances are, there is a den nearby and this fox's mate was attending the kits.
Thanks for the visits, faves and comments its greatly appreciated.

I was not ready for this and my camera was not ready(its early in the morning) - this is my first fox .
Look who has come to visit ... hunting squirrels in our backyard.
It has been snowing all day but it is quite mild - we made it all the way to zero centigrade ... a rare occurrence in January.

Same fox as yesterday, sitting in a little patch of sun before spotting me and then disappearing behind the bushes!
This is fairly cropped to get a better look at him, or her.

⭐️Thank you in Advance for your kind ‘Faves’ Visits and Comments they are so very much appreciated. 👍
I cannot always ‘Thank’ everyone individually, for their Visits and ‘Faves’ however, I will always try to respond and thank all those that leave a ‘Comment’. If I do not reply to your 'Comment', it is not because I am ignoring you, it's because I have not seen the 'Comment'.
Your 'Comments' do not always appear in 'Notifications' or Flickr mail, so, I am sorry for any delay in responding. Often your 'Comment' is only spotted 'On the Page' on the day, that I see it. (seen ONLY when replying to someone HAS 'Commented' on the image, and I see a notification)
This Fox was enjoying the sunshine, well, until it saw me, lol. Seen on 14.10.20 will it was sitting next to a hedgerow
I was taking other pictures when this female fox materialized before me about 20 feet away. The same fox as I had seen a couple of days before. Sadly she had an injury to her left nostril which I had to mend for the photo. She has a mate, a much larger male which we have also seen in the vicinity.

Une belle surprise qui croisa mon chemin !
Ce magnifique renard avec son pelage d'hiver le rendant fier et déterminé. Tout à fait le contraire lorsqu'on le rencontre durant la chaude saison.
This red fox was hunting along the side of the road as I was driving by. He stopped to look up but did not seem too concerned that I was taking his photograph. However after he had allowed me to take about a dozen images I guess he decided he had had enough, and slowly trotted toward the other side of the farm.
