The fountains at the Schleißheim palace.
Schleißheim Palace was built 1701-1704 by Enrico Zuccalli for the Elector of Bavaria, Maximilian II Emanuel, who expected to become emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and therefore needed a representative new residence.
Unfortunately Maximilian II Emanuel never became the emperor...

This one is almost straight out of the camera except for a slight bit of tweaking of exposure, vibrance, angle and sharpening selected areas.
Magnolia Park is one of the smallest in the area, but packs a wallop when it comes to beauty, especially at sunset! If it's lacking anything, it's that the sky is pretty colorless, but with a scene so pretty, even that is hardly noticeable!
Buttercups in full flower adding wonderful contrast with the ruined Fountains Abbey in the back ground.
* The last post from my trip to Seville at least for a while . It is another shot from the Plaza de España that we saw on our first afternoon. We were equally impressed by the architecture but also by the wonderful warm temperatures . Two months later and I am still waiting for a little warmth its been a cool wet Spring this year
The Plaza de España is is a beautiful collection of buildings in the Parque de María Luisa in Seville. It was built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. The Plaza was, designed by Aníbal González, was a principal building built on the Maria Luisa Park's edge to showcase Spain's industry and technology exhibits. González combined a mix of 1920s Art Deco and Spanish Renaissance Revival, Spanish Baroque Revival and Neo-Mudéjar styles. The Plaza de España complex is a huge half-circle; the buildings are accessible by four bridges over the moat, which represent the ancient kingdoms of Spain. In the centre is the Vicente Traver fountain.

I wish our Swedish climate were more suitable for fountains. Here we have to turn them completely off half of the year, so the water doesn't freeze and break the pipes.
Florence, the capital of Tuscany, is an open-air museum. Here, I will post some photos of the city taken during the festive season. There was no snow, but that didn't stop the city from dressing up in festive clothes.
The James Scott Memorial Fountain, completed in 1925, is located near the west end of Detroit's Belle Isle Park. If you're into fountains, this one is pretty impressive. And there are some fences in this shot too, so HFF!
Lava fountains from the Meradalir eruption, which started on 3 Aug 2022. The fountains and the distant landscape look blurry seen through the hot air rising from the sea of lava in front of the erupting fissure.
