Walking along that boring trail I came across I saw something white cross the path ahead of me. Having learned earlier in the day that it's better to quietly creep around corners I did just that and saw a deer right ahead of me.
A few seconds later he took a step forward and I saw he had a friend! I slowly and quietly approached them. They were suspicious but they let me get to within about 10 feet before they had enough of the crazy guy with a camera and ran off.
Long hike to nowhere paid off!
