Every year on May 4th the victims of World War II are remembered in the Netherlands. Forgiveness is a message of hope for all who are still mourning.

In Brazil, there is a really spetacular party called Congada, composed by popular rites. It's not a surprise that even we, the native people, don't know the story behind this.The Congada has its roots on the africans slaves history, and begans at the colonization period. As the Capoeira, the Maracatu, the Candomblé, the Congada is a cultural and political reorganization from the Bantu people in the brazilian's lands.
I will do my best to tell you in my next pictures what is the Congada.
The racist meanings of this are still alive in my country,
so, first of all, I'm asking forgiveness for that.
