That special day.

you remember it.

22-12-2007, there was frozen fog on the trees and a blue sky. It was just a few hours. It was marvelous.

Dordtse Biesbosch

The part of the Biesbosch that borders the city of Dordrecht. It is located between the Sliedrechtse Biesbosch and the Hollandse Biesbosch. Although the Dordtse Biesbosch has largely an agricultural destination, it also contains several recreational areas which serves as the "playground" for the people of Dordrecht.

Well, well, it seems that spring in Finland has been canceled, a new huge snowstorm is approaching me. I'm fine ( I'll light the fireplace, start a new book and sip red wine ), but what about the birds? The forest is full of their joyful singing and I think their biological clock is ticking to start a family.

my wife told me she would like to have diamonds jewelry so, as an ambitious husband, of course I went looking for it and found it in nature in the snow.

In spring it feels like the "decicive moment" applies as much to nature photography as to anything else. The conditions for this image would only exist for one day this year I think. The next day it was sunny again and then the leaves will take over completely.
