Home remedies for a pizza burn

Usually, pizza burns are first degree burns and can be taken care of at home –

- Suck on ice cubes or chips to get instant relief. Have cold water if ice cubes aren’t available

- Chilled milk will also give you instant relief.

- Honey and ghee will coat the region and reduce irritation.

- Plain ice creams without nuts or crispy toppings will also soothe the region.

- Have soft food like rice-khichdi, yogurt, pudding, milkshakes, curd-rice, etc.

- Avoid acidic juices like lemon, orange, and tomato and strong spices like cinnamon and cloves to avoid irritation.

- Avoid hot, crispy, and spicy foods for a couple of days.

- Warm salt water rinses will help with the healing

- If you use aloe vera gel make sure it is of the food-grade and the edible variety to avoid further complications.

- If the burn is still hurting painkillers like ibuprofen can be taken or topical gels with a local anesthetic can be applied for pain relief.

- Do not keep touching the healing region with your tongue or try to remove the scabs. This will only delay your healing.

I'm saving this one for my friend, Peter. I think this little guy will fit in perfectly with all of Peter's black & white pets!

This butterfly couldn't stay in place. I had 1 second to take the shot and it was pretty good actually. I like the details on its head. That's why macro photography is so enjoyable.

The ocean is often mysterious and dark, but it can also play a rejuvenating role within our lives. We've all had the experience of watching waves break, over and over, in a cycle that has been repeating itself since the very early days of planet earth. "Voodoo Chop" is the latest group exhibition at Project One gallery in the Design District of San Francisco which brings together a number of talented artists to examine the power of the ocean's waves on our subconscious.

For those who know me, and i mean really know me, are aware that i go through some pretty tough family times.

But for now, the best thing for me is to stay strong and keep a poker face.

Keeping up 365 in China is extremely hard.

Its way to hot to head outside to take a shot.

And theres way to much people outside.

Aka....A LOT of stares. xD

RICHARD LONG.

BERLIN CIRCLE

26. MÄRZ - 31. JULI 2011

"Richard Long (*1945, Bristol, England) is one of the leading protagonists of 'land art', along with Michael Heizer, Walter de Maria and Robert Smithson. Coinciding with the first ecological movements in the USA and Europe, land art was first created in the 1960s by artists working concurrently but separately from each other, as a critical reaction to the classical genre of sculpture and the commercial art market.

As the chief figure of land art in England, Long uses the movement of his own body, the act of rambling and walking in the countryside as both the gauge and medium for his art. The centre and inspiration for this exhibition is the eponymous work 'Berlin Circle'. The circle of stone, twelve metres in diameter, laid out on the floor is an important work in the Sammlung Marx and was first unveiled and installed by the artist for the opening of the Hamburger Bahnhof in 1996. It serves as the thematic focal point of today's show."
