Seen here are the Weeting Steam Rally. It was on show with the Carlight caravan seen behind.

I just undid my under-the-radar Flickr username because of the morons at this company shown here.

This past fall, I interviewed for and received an internship for the upcoming summer of 2024. Backround checks were to start right about now (early March). However, just last week I got a call letting me know that the offer had been rescinded.

Turns out, they canceled ALL internships across ALL departments (engineering, track, accounting, mechanical, transportation, HR) totaling somewhere around 300 interns.

"We value interns, Katie Farmer started as an intern and worked her way up!"

Great way to abandon the future of your company and miss out on great employees down the road. 30,000 employees and they can't afford 300 interns for 2 months? yeah right

"V5 Present

MoT Exempt

Chassis number: 107675W294647

"The Corvair ‑ one of Chevrolet's attempts to battle the wave of European small car imports reaching the USA during the 1960s ‑ remains the only American‑designed, mass‑produced car with a rear‑mounted, air‑cooled engine; an accolade that is probably unlikely to be taken away now.

"This 1965 example, which was brought to the UK and registered here in April 2019, is a top‑of‑the‑range Corsa model with 2.7‑litre flat‑six engine with four‑barrel carburettor. It's a matching numbers cars that the vendor tells us has been little used since its import, registration and MoT in 2019. When not being driven, it has been dry‑stored. "All is working fine," according to the vendor, and this includes the hood motor. The odometer shows 60,331 miles ‑ albeit unwarranted ‑ and the last MoT expired in March 2020 ‑ although as an historic vehicle, one is no longer needed.

"The paperwork includes the V5C, owner's manual, some invoices from the car's US and British residencies, technical, workshop and assembly information, parts catalogues and other sundry paperwork."
