FMX Bike Demonstrations at Markham Fair (Ontario)
Trick Name: Cordova
How it’s done: hands on the grips, the rider brings his feet up underneath the bars, and presses his knees to his chest, then contorts his back so that he’s looking-upside down- out over the back fender. One of the more bizarre looking tricks on the circuit.
C-FMXS, a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Mk. I Beaver, taxiing in on Back Bay at Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
Serial number 1010 began its career as 55-4609 with the United States Army on December 7, 1956. Today it is operated by Ahmic Air Ltd. of Yellowknife.
By 2006 it was wearing the newer Harbour Air scheme. Being launched into the Fraser River in view of the patrons of the Flying Beaver Pub.
(Evening) FMX extravaganza at Waterfest 2006. Amazing to see these guys flying 5-6m in the air right in front of you as opposed to watching it on TV. Whoot....I missed the AirForce F16s and Apaches flying display at the Air-Force Open house for this...and it was worth it.
This is a similiar shot I took compared to the previous one.
But the colors are different cos I pumped up the saturation, contrast and reduced the greens through curves to make the picture more reddish.
Which do you prefer?
