I had a bunch of small triangles left over from my Swoon quilt and had been trying to figure out what to make with them. Thanks to Jacquie and Katie's Quilting Modern book, I found my answer, inspired by their Swirling Medallion quilt. Blogged here.
I kept the quilting to the white sections to highlight the design. I like the way it came out, and it makes for a fun design on the back too! Blogged here.
The quilt top is finished! 41 of the original FMF prints are stitched into this baby! So much white space made it nearly impossible for a good picture. Once it's quilted I'll bring it over to Chico State and photograph it against one of the old brick buildings.
Machine quilting. . .I was thinking an all over pebble stitch. . .what say you. . .

I just love lime. I'm not sure if my daughter loves it too, but it looks like she doesn't have a choice;)

Flea Market Fancy Pixie Churn
I added a row and a column to make it bigger. At times I thought it was too chaotic but now that it's done, I like it!
I'm still working on smoothing out and redistributing the filling, but here it is! I'm not sure it's going to make it to the bazaar--it looks pretty comfy on my couch!

This painting was done by FMF/Frank Michael Frank at Tell.Tale.Heart Studio :). Thanks again, I really love it.
Check it out-
I've been meaning to make myself one of these for over a year. Decided to use my FMF scraps (sent by wonderful swappers, thank you!) a long time ago, but couldn't decide on a design. I definitely overthink things! Ashley's strip quilts were just the inspiration I needed :) Quilted with warm & natural batting.
Used all of my fancy blue posies. So worth it.

This is a hard one to let go. I kinda want to keep it!
Made for a special friend per her request. Made slightly larger than mine (gotta look up!); backside uses different fabrics as well. Happy to report that she loved it :)

This will be the first one I cut up, pretty sure. Making a wonky log cabin quilt. Still need a few more prints.
