The signs say it all and I can tell you it does all happen on Friday nights. Folks from near and far flood the Country Store to listen and dance to the finest Blue Grass Music the region has. This shot was taken a couple hours before the Jamboree started while there was still some late afternoon light. On September 10th, 1967, Pink Floyd played a cabaret show at the Gyllene Cirkeln (Golden Circle) in Sveavägen in Stockholm. "No one will like what we play", said a Floyd band member to the audience in resignation before the concert... The lightshow itself was run by three projectors. The pictures have only recently surfaced in a private collection, and it looks like it was one of the diners who took this snap, in between courses.

I found this going through some of my old slides. Shot with a Canon T-90 at Floyd Collins' last funeral. Collins was buried at Mammoth Cave Baptist Church Cemetery on March 24, 1989. He died in nearby Sand Cave in 1925. It was one of the biggest news event of the century, at that time. Skeets Miller of the Louisville Courier Journal won the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of Collins being trapped and eventually dying in Sand Cave. More info here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Collins
Castle Meadows, with the winter's first snow on the Blorenge Mountain.
(The three photographs of Floyd on Castle Meadows this week were taken within 4 days of each other and show a normal muddy meadows, the meadows flooded when the River Usk burst its banks and the first snow of the year on the Blorenge Mountain.)

Lots of points but only four that count. He looked like a Floyd.
I was standing in a meadow and could smell deer. Ungulates have the same general smell (at least to this city boy). Kind of like cows. Well I moved slowly past a bush and what do I see!
