The Porsuk River flow gates in Kanlı Kavak park, Eskişehir, Turkey. Captured in autumn colours.

Water rushes past my feet and tripod legs ... such a wonderful feeling when setting up in these cold streams.

Water flows, like time, unstoppable. She's carrying many stone vessels. They move slowly, millennias, before they reach their destination as much smaller pebbles. They won't even notice how many trees will grow and die around watching their race to eternity. And then I come with camera thinking: "What a lovely brook...click..."

Running and splashing with a roar over the small cliff of the ravine, water seems more than a simple liquid element, almost like a wild living creature. In tandem with sunlight, they fill the background with earthy green shades and bubbles.

The Schwarzach (Czech: Nemanický potok) is a river with its spring in the Czech Republic and its estuary in Bavaria.

It passes through Waldmünchen, Rötz and Neunburg vorm Wald, and flows into the Naab near Schwarzenfeld. It is one of the last non-regulated and meandering river in Bavaria.

This image was made near Schwarzhofen.

Multiple (8) exposures - River Aire at Malham Cove; the warm light is reflected from a sunlit cloud towards sunset

I went for one of my favourite walks through a forest near our place a couple of days ago, that has a small creek running through the entire area. I decided to try to get some macro shots of the creek, so I squatted down on a small rock in the middle of the water, tilted my LCD screen and held my camera about 1" from the water and shot. This little "waterfall" is only about 4" high. I didn't fall in and the only thing that got wet was my camera strap.

The pretty Oneida Falls.

The relentless flow,

as time ushers life forward,

find your spot and grow.

Sometimes it seems that the seconds of our lives flow like water cascading over rocky cliffs during a torrential downpour. Slow those waters down, root yourself and embrace the flow. While exploring Twin Falls at Rock Island, it was nice to focus in close on the flowing water of the cascading waterfall and picking out interesting details. Wishing everyone a great day ahead. Thanks for the favs and kind words. They are much appreciated!

Just like how the dunes in the distance flow with the fence.

Have a nice weekend, HFF

A Waterfall in flow.

Whenever I need to draw upon my own sense of peace and wholeness, it's from days like these.

Still milking my brief visit to this semi frozen stream back in February before the thaw.

The Temperance River was very turbulent, right up until it flowed into Lake Superior.

The river waters drop and vanish here as they pass into a natural bridge being cut through the rock.

There is sometimes too much and sometimes too little in the photo, and the eye wants it to be just right.

Waterfall at the Hakone Japanese Gardens in Saratoga, California.

Flaggy Creek at Glenrock State Conservation Area. Yesterday afternoon and last night we had very heavy rain. So I was keen to come here as there are several waterfalls. This is a creek bed, and below here there are two waterfalls. Further upstream there are more waterfalls. I was fortunate as today it was my RDO, so I plenty of time to walk around, taking time to set up shots.

A big swell day in the low afternoon sun, A wave breaks just as it reaches the old outfall and as the previous wave starts to flow back down the shingle, then the cycle repeats wave flow Wave flow back just hit that shutter button at the right moment. This old outfall runs under the main coast road from the old boating lake, there is a stream which feeds the lake so when there is a lot of water from the hills the amount of water can be very forceful. Been out this morning to shoot my monthly fave tree, conditions are very bright at the moment with high pressure in place.

Yesterday I bought fresh grapes at the weekly market. This morning, I was looking forward to a healthy Saturday breakfast and washed the grapes. Just when I wanted to eat the first grape, I thought - stop -! That may be something for HSoS theme - let it flow -. So I picked up my tripod and the remote, took the focus and the settings of the camera and go, let it flow :-)

Hope ya like it
