A frosty shot for Smile on Saturday

The flora of the Andes National Park Cotopaxi (Ecuador) is rich in plants with delicate flowers, but unfortunately, for the most part, I don't know their names. But I'll show them to you anyway, they are very pretty!

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!

Today is a pink or purple day at Color My World Daily and we celebrate flora in monotone at the fabulous Smile on Saturday Group.

Of course my monotone of choice is purple and my flora of choice lately : leaves. Yes, I know that this is a rather unusual color for the leaves but I like the result…And I hope you like it too.

I have another busy day and my smart watch is telling me I need to move (lol) so I will be back later !! Have a great one!! And see you later !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !!

Lovers in the long grass, look above them

Only they can see where the clouds are going

Only to discover dust and sunlight

Ever make the sky so blue

Afternoon is hazy, river flowing

All around the sounds moving closer to them

Telling them the story told by Flora

Dreams they never knew

Silver willows, tears from Persia

Those who come from a far-off island

Winter Chanterelle lies under cover

Glory-of-the-sun in blue

Some they know as passion, some as freedom

Some they know as love and the way it leaves them

Summer snowflake for a season

When the sky above is blue

When the sky above is blue

Lying in the long grass, close beside her

Giving her the name of the one the moon loves

This will be the day she will remember

When she knew his heart was

Loving in the long grass, close beside her

Whispering of love and the way it leads them

Lying in the long grass in the sunlight

They believe it's true love

And from all around them; Flora's secret

Telling them of love and the way it breathes and

Looking up from eyes of amaranthine

They can see the sky is blue

Knowing that their love is true

Dreams they never knew

And the sky above is blue

Am hoping that a non-living (aka artificial) flower counts for the Smile on Saturday theme.

#smileonsaturday #floraSOOC

Great theme for the upcoming smile on saturday photographers! We are supposed to share a pure straight out of camera (SOOC) floral image.

I decided to participate with this orange floral nature shot. I took this image back in 2020 and it came out nearly perfect according to colours. I only placed my mandatory watermark on it. Nothing else is after processed. What you see is the untouched image. No editing of sharpness, colours, cropping or anything else.

Thank you for visits, comments and favs!

Spring flora II

And let's do spring this time, for real. No big parties to go to, no landscapes to photograph on a holiday. A good time to make the best of the spring that's all around us now.

Here are some spring flowers.

The first of a series of two. I couldn't choose between them (and you don't have to either :)

The constant rain this week made the snails to become more confident and ate away everything they found in the garden...even these lovely flowers could not avoid their fate.

Thank you so much for your visit, comment and fave! Have a fantastic weekend and HSoS!

Wondering what's going on.
