Spotted at the Holland Street Market Shed during the week when everyting was packed up out of the way for when it operates as a carpark.
One of the most beautiful serenades of Mozart, Serenad No 10, for winds,Gran partita.
Starts a little lazy, like a rusty organ, and as the whole piece treads on, then suddenly a lone note from the oboe, floating above the clouds and the earth far below, hovers above the earth beautifully.

I spent the last week in Berlin.
6 evenings from 7pm to midnight at the festival of lights - 1400 photos - 3 videos.
The illuminations are art, but my photos are only a documentationof this great event. Nevertheless i guess it's a nice idea to show some examples for tose who weren't there...

I am dreaming of spring! It's an unseasonably nice February day out and I met some friends for lunch at a vegan food fest just a short bike ride away. All the snow has melted and the sun is bright and cheery!
It's funny how when the Autumn comes, I feel my inner goth coming out and I start to hibernate like a cloudy blue Care Bear and sleep all the time but in the spring I feel like I have so much energy.
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great day today. There is always a lot of sadness in the world. I can't help feeling like we all take turns experience it. But, if we're sad all the time, it's a horrible existence.

The Titicaca floating islands are not just agricultural land, but real villages inhabited by groups of 3 to 10 families depending on their area. They include huts also made of totora, rushes with which the islanders also make basic furniture and beautiful bow boats in the shape of a puma head.

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond", was written as a tribute to Syd Barrett, one of the founders of Pink Floyd. He was also known as "The Crazy Diamond Syd". Barrett was a very creative musician and is considered one of the rock icons, with a strong influence on many artists, very especially to David Bowie. Syd Barrett is a key piece to understand the evolution of rock in the 70s.. Excessive drug use, especially LSD, caused him serious mental health problems. Syd Barrett died in 2006 at the age of 60. Always shine diamond.
The Universal is a science fiction song written as a tribute to two films by film director Stanley Kubrick. In the video, the Blur members wear outfits similar to Alex and his gang of thugs, the protagonists of the movie "A Clockwork Orange." The image used for the cover of the single alluded to what is possibly Kubrick's best film: "2001: To Space Odyssey."

I spent about an hour in a community garden last week, among the flowers and vegetables. This is a bird bath and the dandelion seedhead was floating around in the water.
I'm still not seeing your images in my feed for some reason. I have to go into each of your streams to see if you've posted :(
Maybe isn't about sinking or swimming...
But, rather to just float peacefully for a while.

I always like to look at the bottom of the ponds and canals. Here I found interesting bugs and leaves floating... so serene! (Best in Large)
