Taken in Stanwell Park, on one of many wonderful day trips through the Southern Highlands in New South Wales. Initially I was disappointed with the weather but ultimately it made the day much more memorable. The fog made the colour of the Flame trees even more dramatic.

Maybe this looks a little too much like a christmas card or a pamphlet for a religious group but I like it playing with shutter speeds so that's enough for me!

Camp Fire, Colour ot the flame came from copper based chemicals.

I liked some of my other flames better, but it just seemed interesting cropped like this.

This group of towers is visible from just about everywhere in Baku. They contain residential apartments, a hotel and offices, and are lit at night to resemble rising flames.

Chamas

More than ever this year, it seems. This cluster grows just above our driveway.

On Diwali festival, houses are lit up with oil lamps(clay earthen lamp)..Light is significant in Hinduism because it signifies purity, goodness, good luck and power. Diwali is celebrated on the new moon day when it is absolute darkness everywhere, people light millions of lamps to get rid of the darkness.
