All my bags are packed

I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

But the dawn is breakin

Its early morn

The taxis waitin

Hes blowin his horn

Already Im so lonesome

I could die

So kiss me and smile for me

Tell me that youll wait for me

Hold me like youll never let me go

cause Im leavin on a jet plane

Dont know when Ill be back again

Oh babe, I hate to go

This is my other Toyota baby (I also bought a black FJ Cruiser 2007)... this old girl has about 180k miles and she is still "rolling strong" (down hill that is). I bought her new in 1989 for the arrival of my first born son Rex. It seemed appropriate to buy this "tank" for the arrival of our precious cargo. It was my wife's daily driver until it became my "fishing truck". It is one of the very last FJ 62's made. It was a December 1990 model and they shut down that production line shortly thereafter. Not for sale... never will be (as long as I'm alive). Both of my kids want her badly and they will have to wait until I am buried in the ground and then they can fight over it!

...and a few minutes later when the sun broke the horizon.

From Sherman Island, CA.

Lens is the D FA 150-450 on the K3II. I parked it on the levee and then ran down into the field below to set up the shot.

The new Toyota FJ Cruiser is actually based on an old version of the Land Cruiser called the (FJ40 Land Cruiser) way back in the 70s. I like this SUV for it's mix of neo and retro design, I also like the colors it comes in, this was my third attempt panning one during my practice....as they say, third time's a charm. =)

The Toyota FJ Cruiser isn't imported by Toyota in Europe. However quite a number of FJ Cruisers were privately imported from the USA. The Toyota FJ Cruiser was introduced in 2006 with styling inspired by the original Toyota FJ40 Land Cruisers. Production will be stopped by the end of this year.

All kinds of little canyons cut through the White Rim formation. The views are spectacular. From our campsite at Gooseberry, Canyonlands NP.

Toyota FJ Cruiser in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

The FJ Cruiser was a retro-styled SUV inspired by the J40 Land Cruiser. Sold in Japan, North America, the Middle East and many other markets around the globe, the FJ Cruiser never officially went on sale in Europe, though quite a few seem to have been imported.

We drove this truck. This was my first drive in an FJ Cruiser. I was impressed.

This FJ is black-cherry in color, although in this instance, it's primarily dirt-hued.

A thunderstorm recedes to the east and the sun popped out producing this cool rainbow over the lush-looking landscape east of Sheridan, Wyoming, on Ulm Road. Lime Time documents the moment with pixels.

It's the little details that make me happy. #Icon #FJcruiser #ShifKnobs bit.ly/2gLf7NB
