For my first international filmswap I teamed up with one of my absolute favourite photographers, the superb hodachrome from Japan, and this is from the return leg.. If you haven't already, check out his photostream as you won't be disappointed. Hodaka shot the five-storied pagoda at Kakuouzan Nittai-Ji Temple, Nagoya and I shot some graffiti round the corner from my house in Brighton.

Film swap - i.e. Double exposre:
First run: Fl:ckrnauta Lomo LC-A Italy
Second run : captainbonobo Olympus XA2 UK
Fuji Velvia 50
Cross processed
Filmswap with myself. First run using an XA4, second with an LC-A. Kodak ED200 shot at box speed both times. I always underexpose for xpro, even for single exposure. I find I prefer the slightly less mental colour shifts. But sometimes you need a bit of bonkers saturation. And a sheep in the sky.

The second roll from an international filmswap with one of my favourite photographers, the superb hodachrome from Japan. If you haven't already, check out his photostream and you won't be disappointed. Hodaka shot the red coloured 'torii' (the gateway to Shinto shrines) of Sanko-Inari Shrine at the foot of Inuyama Castle, Aichi, and I shot a foot tunnel near the Imax Cinema, on London's South Bank.

Filmswap with Angela. Kodak Ektar 100. First run in California with Lomo LC-A, second in Sussex with Olympus XA2.
A double exposure project I did with Brazilian artist Beatriz Moreira. Sadly, I underexposed my images a bit too much so that most of the roll we see only Bea's images but here and there we see a wonderful effect of both her and my images showing through.
This is one of the images where we cannot make out any of my initial exposure. This is disappointing in a way but at least Bea's images are good and we have learned a lesson about planning exposure values for a project like this.
Shot in Toronto, Canada and somewhere near Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

A film swap project made by me and Hồng Nhung from Hanoi, Vietnam. Photos were exposed both in Nha Trang by me and in Hanoi by Nhung.
Another film swap project made by me and Bang Duong from Saigon. He shot the whole roll of films in my town, Nha Trang when he traveled here, then rewound the films and sent it to me. I carried the roll back to Saigon again and shot on the sencond layer on them.

For my first international filmswap I'm delighted to have teamed up with one of my absolute favourite photographers, the superb hodachrome from Japan. If you haven't already, check out his photostream as you won't be disappointed. Hodaka shot Yokkaichi industrial complex, Yokkaichi-shi, Mie (only faintly visible) and I shot Stonehenge, with a splitzer-assisted triple exposure.

A film swap project made by me and my wife Amy Chu. Photos were exposed both in Tsukuba, Japan in autumn of 2015 by Amy and in Nha Trang, Vietnam in spring of 2016 by me.
Film swap with Anke Schroeder.
Anke, I love your little plant! It looks really happy and healthy on the windowsill, its own cozy and special place, basking in the sunlight and warm rays.

This is one of the images where we can only just barely make out a hint of my initial exposure. So essentially this image is Bea's with a hint of something by me in the dark areas.
Shot in Toronto, Canada and somewhere near Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Part of a film swap project with Bastien. He took the photo of the ACTA protest and I had a flash behind my subject. This is Bastien's favourite and one of my favourites from the roll, too.
