Fallen down gum trees on the shores of Lake Bonney in South Australia.
Looking a bit like stick figure sketches. (no pun intended)
Haven’t done one of these in a while so here we go
Ra’s al Ghul: I think this is based on one of his Arkham game appearances (I don’t know because I’ve never played them) but it’s a cool fig
Arsenal: based on his Young Justice season 2 look, and I gotta say this is one of my favorite figures I have ever made
Talia al Ghul: just testing some combos
Talon: I like this guy quite a bit and is inspired by HMD’s version
So what do you th8nk and who’s your favorite??
American Gothic by Grant Wood ( 1891 - 1942 ) painted in 1930, oil on Beaver board, owned by Art Institute of Chicago.
The painting has been parodied in many marketing campaigns, and by couples who re enact the image photographically by facing a camera in the same way as the two figures in the painting, one of them holding a pitchfork or other object in its place.
This is my tribute to the famous painting, and thanks to Bart Shore for original photo of the painting.

Two of these figures may seem familiar, but that's for a reason! I took Satania (Mother of Demons, Queen of Demoria), and Pyroclaides (Earth's Fury, Son of Thunder and Fire) from my previous fantasy figbarfs, and did some minor and major changes to them, respectively.
The build that will feature these characters is very figure-heavy and I'm not sure how well it will all turn out on camera, so here's a clear view at them. :)
Composed of Target's 2010 Exclusives "Bounty Hunters From Hostage Crisis Animated Series Episode" battle pack, "Senate Commando Captain and Senate Commando" 2-Pack (plus a few older figures)
For our family collab at BrickWorld this year we brought 13 large scale figures from the Wingfeather Saga. Katie designed the first head and we went from there, building at a really fun cartoony scale.
As you can probably imagine, stability was a big challenge on these figures. I've tried to continue refining and mine are mostly stable now, not sure where exactly they'll end up but ideally wherever it is they will be able to stand being breathed on. XD
Probably not all the figures will make it to Flickr, but we built:

So I've been asked lately how many Black Series 6" figures I have. So over the next few days I will post all my 6" Black Series figures. Taking a whole group shot would not be easy to do unless I made a riser for them. So I separated them into groups. Hope you guys enjoy.
Sorry, dear Flickr-friends, that you didn‘t hear from me for a while. Its so hot here in the middle of Europe. And I am so lazy (don‘t feel like doing anything). This might go on for a while, because the weather won‘t change in the near future (no rain, no breeze, just super-high temperatures and an enormous drought). Please, send some rain... from Britain, Island, Turkey, Denmark. From anywhere. Every drop is appreciated.

Early last year I was treated to some really fun conditions out by Mt. Bachelor. The snow was really pristine and the 15F temperature made for some incredible formations on the trees. During the middle of the day there was this incredible interplay between sunlight and passing snow flurries which you see here. Thanks for looking.
A couple new parts inspired a couple new spiky figures.
Left to right:
The Night King: Finally got one of the BP ears in white!
Wolverine: Wanted to try the blue shoulder pads on this, I like them. Head is the OG Wolverine fig with a white sticker, arms are custom printed.
TCW Maul: Got the book with the Solo version of Maul, just messed with it a bit to make this.
I also just realized I managed to add three different franchises to this picture and none of them are DC. I'm honestly impressed with myself.
Yesterday’s figures continue to provide hope that the corona emergency is easing while the epidemic continues to demand a high toll: 230 corona-related deaths were recorded and 211 patients were hospitalised, bringing the total number of people that are treated in hospital to 4,527. Meanwhile, the corona death toll in Belgium keeps attracting attention of the international press. Whilst the European press acknowledges that our figure is an overestimate and that it’s nearly as we are being too honest some US press is less diplomatic when talking about the mortality rate in Belgium: “Champion of Coronavirus” and “Belgian Corona Riddle” … Our virologists are urging caution when comparing figures and stress that we are the only country to include deaths in care homes. I think we all should realize that the corona crisis is not a race and that we'd be better off concentrating on finding the best way to count deaths instead of pointing fingers. In the midst of all of this, I continue with my daily corona walk documenting Ghent as it unrolls before my eyes… - Brugse Poort, Ghent, Belgium
