On 10 August 2020, my dear Blanca will be 10 years old! We're entering double digit territory now!!
A scrawny wild-eyed shelter pup from Tennessee grew into my trusted friend and companion and we have traveled so many miles together, literally and figuratively. I love her very, very much! Walking on the windy beach together is where we're both the happiest.
To celebrate this milestone, I'll be posting some pics in a special album! :)

This area is known as More Mesa and it's less than a mile from my house to these bluffs. It's a wonderful open space (320 acres) and full of wildlife and great ocean views.

Pan Casero (homemade)
A mix of gluten-free flours(garbanzo bean, potato starch, corn starch, whole grain sorghum,fava bean, tapioca and soy lecithin)
Recipe:
13/4 cups coconut milk
1/4 cup milled flaxseed
sea salt
active dry yeast
olive oil
apple cider balsamic vinegars
spices(cumin, falafel spices, pepper, ginger)
milled sunflower sesame seeds
This very anthropomorphic tree reminds of the Whomping Willow in the Harry Potter novels - thrashing its arms around. In this case, an oak, still green amongst lovely autumn colour from the beeches in the New Forest.

Brookgreen Gardens is a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve, located just south of Murrells Inlet, in South Carolina. The 9,100-acre (37 km2) property includes several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, the Lowcountry Zoo, and trails through several ecosystems in nature reserves on the property. It was founded by Archer Milton Huntington, stepson of railroad magnate Collis Potter Huntington, and his wife Anna Hyatt Huntington to feature sculptures by Anna and her sister Harriet Randolph Hyatt Mayor along with other American sculptors. Brookgreen Gardens was opened in 1932, and is built on four former rice plantations, taking its name from the former Brookgreen Plantation
