Grass of Parnassus (Parnassia palustris) - habit, 4 individual plants (flowers are solitary). A real first-time treat for me. Lots on the island of Sanday, Orkney, in damper areas of sandy ground. Here near the Plain of Fidge.

Year 2 of the 365 Days Project
The day after we discovered that people had mistaken the freezer for a fridge. So there was a hell of a mess in the fidge and this was the thawing stage. There was a video of them bubbling as they thawed.
Okay, how? How do you get Stalactites in a fridge. I wouldn't have believed it possible, but here they are.
Took this one at SCM Dinner again ... it's the chaos on the fridge. Sadly not as in focus as it should be, but the lighting wasn't great.
