Memory comes when memory's old
I am never the first to know
Following the stream up North
Where do people like us float
There is room in my lap
For bruises, asses, handclaps
I will never disappear
For forever, I'll be here
Whispering
Morning, keep the streets empty for me
Morning, keep the streets empty for me
I'm laying down, eating snow
My fur is hot, my tongue is cold
On a bed of spider web
I think of how to change myself
A lot of hope in a one man tent
There's no room for innocence
Take me home before the storm
Velvet moths will keep us warm
Whispering
Morning, keep the streets empty for me
Morning, keep the streets empty for me
Whispering
Morning, keep the streets empty for me
Morning, keep the streets empty for me

Today I discovered that large noses are incredibly handy when it comes to sticking dried bird wings to your face.
Robyn came out on stage to perform The Girl and the Robot :)
Röyksopp live at Royal Festival Hall, a thumping fist pumping show for the electronic music duo featuring Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge. They played this epic one off show with style and had the likes of Fever Ray, Robyn and Anneli Drecker. The lights were hypnotizing and the sound was thumping. They played a lot of new tracks from their latest album Junior but promised fans they'll bring in some back catalogue tunes as well.

I live between concrete walls
In my arms she was so warm
Eyes are open and mouth cries
Haven't slept since summer...
Wil's Choice of music for his moleskine is "Fever Ray".
With this exchange, we are combining all our pieces together, usually the owner of the moleskine has worked all the way through the book in some way for us all to interact with. Those are someone else's legs (I think Wil) and his lettering.

Fever Ray supporting Röyksopp live at Royal Festival Hall, their set was amazing but at the same time the lights were too damn dark to see anything (could have been pre-recorded for all i know). I hear they had really cool costumes but the dark light meant I couldn't see them :(
I'm not as happy with the colour versions but this one was alright so I thought I would pop it up. :)
(Excuse the carbuncle on me cheek)
I'm currently opening & pinning 30 dried butterflies for photos in the future but its a pretty slow process and I couldn't resist playing around with a few of my practice butterflies!
Amazing TV show. I think the show is so well done from set design, to costume, to calligraphy writing, great acting, and so on... Plus a killer sound track at the beginning of the program, "If I Had A Heart" by Fever Ray www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5q04zThdeo
This is a small tribute to the show. This features my authentic Uncial script which was around the same time period roughly and same geography roughly as the TV show setting. I really like their logo with the killer V, and their typeface does have a hint back at more historic calligraphy.
This rustic looking V is actually a digital effect created in Inkscape. It's easy to create. I simply vectorized my hand done lettering (Path / Trace Bitmap), then copied the V, enlarged it, moved it to the background, then ran a digital effect called Filters / Materials / Enamel Jewelry. You can experiment with colours and sizes to get variations in digital effects. It turned out ok.
Cheers
