The NEW FIRE Festival 2016 took place at the beautiful Sandy Hill Nature Park, Freeport on March 26th & 27th. Located in the Idyllyc rolling hills of the central range of Trinidad.
The two day Festival comprised of an outdoor camping experience celebrating music, art, wholesome foods, yoga, meditation, discussions, talkshops and more in a responsible and sustainable way.

reading musicale sul tema della libertà, dell’esilio e dell’amore

Nata greca, Saffo è tra le poetesse più celebri dell’antichità: visse da bambina l’esilio della famiglia, che per motivi politici dovette abbandonare la nativa Ereso e trasferirsi in Sicilia. Ispirata dai valori dell’amore e dall’uguaglianza tra i sessi, Saffo rappresentò per l’epoca un fortissimo riferimento di libertà che ancora non si è spento. In “Alfabeto d’amore” si ripercorre la lirica della poetessa greca all’interno di un canzoniere italiano di brani noti e meno noti, da svelare solo a concerto iniziato.
Ingresso gratuito.
