A cold snap kills one of the last flowers of the year as rain drops freeze to the petals. This is the same type of pink flower photographed in this earlier shot. The yellow filter adds some drama to the wilting petals.

 

This photo is from my second test roll of Ferrania P30 Alpha, panchromatic, 80 ISO, black and white film. The negatives turned out thin again, so that the scanned images are dark and contrasty.

Hard texture of big and heavy wooden doors at my grandparents' house – painted, weathered more than a few times in the last six or seven decades.

 

Taken with Canon EOS 50E film camera and Sigma 24–70mm F3.5–5.6 UC Aspherical zoom lens, on expired Ferrania P30 Alpha film.

Developed with Adox Adonal, 1+50 dilution, at 22.5°C.

Scanned with Plustek OpicFilm 8100 film scanner, using VueScan.

 

These photos are quite contrasty, from what I've seen. Ferrania P30 seems to work best when developed with Rodinal 1+100 in a stand process. It's good to know for next time!
