Had to show luv to my brotha Hemps who once again came down from Toronto to rock with the rest of the crew in Miami. Good times! good walls, good burners.. here's one of them.

Back in pre-First days? Not quite - taken on 29th July 2005, we have three Western National livered buses, featuring two Darts still with the flags/tickets livery.
This is one of those right place, right time photos that I like to trot out every now and then. Haven't been back to Falmouth since but would always like to, especially with the recent university service changes and the arrival of the ex-Plymouth Enviros.

I've never ridden this bus, but always liked this photo. 38928 (XHK228X) illustrates all the interest that the Devon & Cornwall fleet gives to an enthusiast - with a barbie 2 livered front borrowed from another VR, slapped onto the Western National livery, still featuring the red doors. Oh, and the roof is messy and the blind isn't set.
Anyway, pictured in St Ives during the summer of 2005, 38928 looks rather grand, in a scruffy kind of way.
With the cold North Sea in the background fairly new Leyland National 2 3135 A135 FDC owned by United AS stands at Redcar on 19-02-84.
Taken in Penryn on the 28th July 2005, 38887 (VEX287X) is pictured on a Falmouth to Penzance service. This was one of the former Eastern Counties Bristol VRs that arrived in 2001 to remove some of the older buses in the fleet.
Nice to see that fleet modernisation there. In reality, not a lot has changed - the most recent arrivals in Cornwall being now 15year old Olympians from Manchester. Still - it is an enthusiast gold mine, if not quite as brilliant for the travelling public.
