canon fd lens collection, all adapted now to work on my canon RF mount camera...who knew these would see new life...now many of these are desired lenses ... I have a few more to add to the collection..we'll see how they work out..manual lenses..good thing i have a tripod, camranger and ipad to help with the focusing.

Put the Canon FD 28mm 3.5 SC lens that is stuck at f3.5 on a reverse macro ring on the Canon 5D Mark II and took it out to get some shots of the ice that had formed on the spruce needles this morning.

An ex-Department of Fisheries wooden patrol boat, built for them in 1946 at New Westminster, BC. For many years she patrolled the west coast, working out of Tofino. She was de-commissioned, in 1989 I think, and sold into private hands in 1990. A local boat since 2011. The FD.202 is just under 40 feet, powered by a 165hp diesel engine.

I love using these old FD lenses on my Canon EOS-R. They are much lighter than modern lenses and the manual focusing together with the Focus-Peaking of the EOS-R it's very easy.
