I could have done a lot better if i didn't rush. I've learned a lot about paint lately. I've also learned that fantasy can be expressed in so many ways... you just have to let it lead you... and let it go!

Took a walk along the beach late in the afternoon to unwind after a long day and spotted this rather large sandcastle complete with a water filled moat around it.
No doubt the creator had in a lot of fun building their fantasy sandcastle - and probably a little help. And patience.

Trenton Blackwater Pro-Consul of Val-Augustos.
For many generations the Blackwater family has been prominent in Val-Augustos and the Ilium Province with many of successful politicians and great warriors bringing the family name honor and respect. Trenton's father Ambrose brought the family to new heights before his assassination. Now the young Trenton must take on the responsibilities of running the household and uncover the mystery of his fathers murder while continuing his own political schemes.

A new year will start soon and so i started decorating for upcomming events. I took those pics while decorating a setting of a fantasy author reading. Interesting how wl can change the entire 'feeling' of a location :)

Day Six, Image Two of Polaroidweek. Shot at Asiel Design's Winter Fantasy party with fashions by Rachel Riot and art by Tulio Flores.
Transformed a very bland boring photo into something a little more dramatic, heavy post processing but I like the effect to be honest.
This one was strangely hard in that I made 4 completely different versions before I settled on this one which by the way was much simpler. The 2 1/4 Black & White original is from 1983 in the Orkney Islands
Milkyway against the Pemaquid point lighthouse in Maine, USA. This is a composite shot of two images taken from same location but different directions. The Pemaquid faces North so the Milkyway will never be seen in this position. But who has stopped us from creating our fantasies? Keep exploring and creating!

20 years ago today, the final chapter in the Lord of the Rings film saga led by Peter Jackson was released in cinemas worldwide. For the third year celebrating these films, a group of collaborators came together to build scenes from the movie, all tagged in the post above. We wanted to honor the hard work of Jackson and his production team's work, as well as the epic storytelling ability of J.R.R. Tolkien.

1. Aquanid, a ghastly aquatic dweller with peculiarly-shaped appendices. Not much is known about this species.
2-3. Atlantean warriors from the very depths of the ocean who occasionally venture inland. In dim light, their pitch-black skin makes anything they wear appear to be floating.
4. A distant relative of the Aquanids, Acanda is a semi-intelligent species fully adapted to living on land.
5. Tigoro of a jungle tribe, a master huntsman. Prefers to stay clear of water bodies.
