I finally edited a few photos from a very cold evening at Peggy's Cove at the end of October..

All lovely things will have an ending, All lovely things will fade away…

For Annie.....

(:)

In those years I did everything I could do

and I did it in the dark-

I mean, without understanding.

I ran away.

I ran away again.

Then, again, I ran away.

misty mysterious night...

Our lovely Sedum flowers are beginning to fade, whereas the Jade flowers are still going strong.

Sorry I disappeared yesterday evening, but our Internet link burped, as did the TV, and it took me ages to get everything back up and running again.

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites. :)

I went through my archives last night. And found this picture. Thought it resembled a little of both my Faded Focus and Reverse Order series.

The noise was just too much. The thumping that came from upstairs was getting louder and louder every second that passed by. Thump, thump, thump is all she heard morning noon and night. It was driving her crazy. She sat in her chair and thought. But she couldn't think everything faded behind the thumping. She stood from her chair walked to the stairs. Step by step she would ascend her eyes met with the noise. She saw her heart raise and fall. The noise, the noise was driving her mad she must have peace. She would run out the back door onto the dock. The sun was setting no matter how far she got she could still hear the noise. She reached the end of the dock.

The waters looked so calming. She would lean far over peering into the ocean. In a second she lost her balance splashing into the freezing waters. The shock of the coldness forced all her air out. Sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Her eyes closed she didn't fight. At that second she felt the silence. She started to slip into the nothingness. The black void growing filling everything that was her. Thump, Thump, Thump she heard pulling her further away from the void.

Almost faded Japanese quince but so beautiful at sunset glow.

Fade Into You

by Mazzy Star

I wanna hold the hand inside you

I wanna take the breath that's true

I look to you and I see nothing

I look to you to see the truth

You live your life, you go in shadows

You'll come apart and you'll go black

Some kind of night into your darkness

Colors your eyes with what's not there

Fade into you

Strange you never knew

Fade into you

I think it's strange you never knew

A stranger's light comes on slowly

A stranger's heart is out of home

You put your hands into your head

And then its smiles cover your heart

Fade into you

Strange you never knew

Fade into you

I think it's strange you never knew

Fade into you

Strange you never knew

Fade into you

I think it's strange you never knew

I think it's strange you never knew

A lovely riverside walk, late afternoon, in West Kent. Here the Medway splits and a tree signposts the spot for tired ramblers nearing a hot chocolate or a beer in Tonbridge town centre.
