Back to familiar themes of darkness and despair...Not : ) the missing spike in the ironwork was just what I needed to focus attention on the church doorway.
POLAROID SX-70 // IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT 'FADE TO BLACK' FILM (6 SCANS) // VENiCE, CA
6 separate scans over the course of about 8 hours, first one about 5 minutes after exposure
the now-vacant house next door -- and my first attempt at dry-peeling a fade-to-black photo (i'm super-clumsy at it so far, lots of smudges)
and it's 20°F out on my porch this morning! brrrr!
That time of year when the day seems to fade away. Drifting further into the darkness with each passing day. Volume 1 - Foreign Stout - Pours black with licorice, espresso bean, molasses, and black cardamom notes that give way to a feeling of self loathing, burnt opportunities and smoked relationships.

Ok, now is time to say goodbye my friends, don't know when i'll be back, to many shits happens in this period, so i have to leave you, and dedicate my time to resolve this problems, i wanna thank all of you for your great friendship shown me in all this time, thanks for every comments, every wishes, every single minute spent for me, thanks for your kind words on my work, thanks, above all, to be such a great persons, i will never forget you, maybe i will come back, but just don't know right now, how much time i will be away, i wish you all the best and keep up your passion and desire, be strong and never give up, like i will do. for a minute i wished i hadn't jammed the film with my stupid finger while it was ejecting, but such is the way of the polaroid; there are no mulligans. i very much love the swirl in the sky.

Double exposure of a tunnel just off the snake pass.
I'm quite happy with the results this evening especially due to the fact the last two outings with the camera have been fruitless affairs.
Was planning on having my silhouette in the tunnel but my external flash was too far away from my camera to fire with me stood in front of it.
Flash fired from its stand on +5 as a slave to the onboard flash gelled green. Cap on and fumble my way down stream for the sky part and refocused.

this little guy loves the snow. lucky for him we have about 3 feet in cleveland. i think the bubbly patches on the left are due to the extreme cold.
