Le suricate, parfois surnommé « sentinelle du désert », est une espèce de mammifères diurnes de la famille des Herpestidae et la seule du genre Suricata. Ce petit carnivore vit dans le sud-ouest de l'Afrique. Animal très prolifique, le suricate vit en grands groupes familiaux au sein d'une colonie.

Un couple de martins-pêcheurs élève normalement 2 nichées par an, voire 3 ou 4, si les conditions sont favorables ou si une nichée a été détruite.
La première ponte a lieu dès la mi-mars en Europe occidentale, un mois plus tard en Europe orientale. De 4 à 8 œufs sont pondus à un jour d'intervalle, à même le sol de la chambre de ponte. D'un beau blanc brillant et de forme presque sphérique, ils ont un diamètre moyen à peine supérieur à 2 cm et ne pèsent guère plus de 4 grammes.
Le couple se partage, à parts à peu près égales, le temps de couvaison et se relaie par factions de 2 à 5 heures. L'incubation dure trois semaines et ne commence qu'une fois le dernier œuf pondu ; les éclosions ont donc toutes lieu au même moment.
Nus à l'éclosion et incapables de maintenir leur température interne, les petits sont réchauffés par les adultes pendant une semaine, jusqu'à ce qu'ils se couvrent de courtes plumes. Les parents peuvent alors se consacrer tous deux à leur ravitaillement.
Les poissons apportés aux jeunes sont légèrement plus longs que ceux que les adultes capturent pour eux-mêmes : entre 4 et 7 cm, avec un maximum de 10 cm. Pendant la becquée, les petits, disposés en étoile à l'intérieur de la chambre, sont nourris chacun à son tour durant les deux à trois premières semaines. C'est l'époque où le sol du nid se couvre de leurs pelotes de réjection, et où les parents se baignent souvent. Un peu plus tard, les jeunes se tournent tous vers le boyau d'entrée, serrés les uns contre les autres, ou s'avancent dans le couloir à la rencontre des adultes.

A pair of kingfishers normally rear 2 broods a year, or 3 or 4, if conditions are favorable or if a brood has been destroyed.
The first spawning takes place in mid-March in Western Europe, a month later in Eastern Europe. From 4 to 8 eggs are laid one day apart on the floor of the laying chamber. They are bright white in color and almost spherical in shape. They have an average diameter of just over 2 cm and weigh little more than 4 grams.
The couple share, roughly equally, the brooding time and relays in factions from 2 to 5 hours. The incubation lasts three weeks and begins only once the last egg laid; hatching therefore takes place at the same time.
Naked at hatching and unable to maintain their internal temperature, the young are warmed by adults for a week, until they cover themselves with short feathers. Parents can then devote themselves to their food.
The fish brought to the young are slightly longer than those that the adults catch for themselves: between 4 and 7 cm, with a maximum of 10 cm. During the beak, the little ones, arranged in a star inside the chamber, are each fed during the first two to three weeks. It is the time when the ground of the nest is covered with their balls of rejection, and where the parents bathe often. A little later, the youths all turn to the inlet hose, huddled together, or walk down the hallway to meet the adults.

After the armistice in November 1918, the warring factions left the devartated landscape along the Western front orphaned.
After one of the bloddiest battles in history for four years, the gains along the Western front at most a mere mile.
The rulers and the butchers wiped out an entire generation of young men in these four insane years and those who survived had major psychological problems, were severly maimed or blind from the poison gas or were missing one or more limbs.
The fate that remained for them after the insane war was bitter poverty or begging. No one, but no one cared of them, even though they were supposedly devated to heroes.
The butchers like Haig, Foch and other scum got all the fame and fortune they had in no way deserved and it was they who were considered the unsurpassed heroes.
Allthough US President Wilson held the Germans responsible for the insane war, he did not accuse them for the outbreak of the conflict.
This is a very strange diplomatic statement to say the least, and in fact he meant to say that no one was guilty of the outbreak of the war.
It is therefor very strange to conclude that Germany was responsible for it and was senteneed to pay the war reparations.
Regardless, Germany had to start making recovery payments and the country was plunged into a great economic misery.
A certain Adolf Hitler who had fought as a volunteer in the insane war with the German army appeared on the political stage as an insignificant person and founded the political party "NSDAP" which was initially a very small party.
From the mid- 20 s onwards, the economy of Germany continued to improve, but this growth ended in 1930 with the Great Depression that raged worldwide and making Germany unable to meet its recovery payments.The party leader of the "NSDAP" Adolf Hitler managed to draw more and more peoples into his party and his political ideas through his talent for speaking and won a monstrous victory in the 1933 elections.
However, his party was characterized by extreme Nationalism and anti- Semitism.
The horific consequenses are known: WW 2 is a direct consequence of the insane WW 1.
The reason for this is the Treaty of Versailles in which Germany felt humilated to the bone and called this Treaty "Das Diktat" ( The Dictate).
Adolf Hitler took full advantage of this feeling of humilation.
And what have we learned from these horrible 2 world wars?
The answer is: NOTHING!!
We have now come to justice in one of the most serious economic crises after WW 2.
Of course the corona virus is to blame for this, but before the outbreak of the pandemic things did not go well economically, despite the many billions that the ECB injected in the economy.
Right- wing populism and nationalism are popping up in just about every country, countries becoming increaslinly intolerable towards eachother and the social cohesion between peoples increasingly disappearing.
The ECB continues to inject even more billions in the economy and that is the reason why many think it will not go that fast.
But those who know the history are starting to scratch their heads and have their reservation about this and especially how it will end if the bailout of the economy fails.
Of course I sincerely hope that I am totally wrong, but there are clearly signs that allows me to compare now and then.........

Been a while since I posted anything over here but finally something worthy of posting. It has taken me a couple of months to build and I tried some more complex landscaping techniques throughout. It had to include a probe droid for the Factions Episode so I made two designs, the smaller on the right and the larger on the left. There is an interior round the back with caves.
As ever, feedback is appreciated!

Due to recent events happening around the galaxy, several worlds partnered with the Confederacy of Free Systems felt the need to fund and establish several military garrisons. This is meant to reduce the time needed to implement potential contingency plans in the event that their worlds or assets are occupied by outside forces.

Note: So the story behind this build is that I originally planned to use this building for another moc, but as I progressed, it felt like I didn’t achieve the look that I wanted in regards to the building. Thus, I took the building, modified it a tad, and bam. This is the end result.

As a former bounty hunter, Blosh Tessk has many connections on the planet tatooine. The SCS has issued an order to collect as much intel as possible. The disappearance of SCS agents is still a mystery. Blosh Tessk must proceed with caution. The SCS doesn't know who's behind the disappearance, but all sides point towards the Unistar.
Perhaps these Jawas can tell him more about the disappearances.

The humm of repulsor engines could be heard from a distance. Captain Gaius Neimor had arrived to personally oversee the launching of the main force. What few settlements remained on Ambria after the war were best avoided, so the Crescendo made the jump as soon as possible.
A full mobile armor division was deployed, armored transport flanked by speeder escorts. The small comms tower was working as well as it could be expected, and the smoke plumes occluded the gathering from being viewed from atmosphere. Stormtrooper squads were ready to be sent out; there are many more valuable sites on the planet.
It was at this point clear that Pyerce didn't set up a major base here, as they didn't encounter any major resistance. Evidence of their activity still points to an active presence on Ambria. What cards they hold, only time will tell...

Advanced Armor Recon Tank or AART-17. Developed by the Eurasians for Urban trekking, the AART-17’s primary role in Africa was patrolling cities and fortifying the Eurasian position in central Africa. Reinforced plating, Tread guards and mounted gun are a few of the fortifications featured on the tank. Advanced Exhaust system, long range comms, and extra ammunition storage allows for extended recon missions. Few vulnerabilities have ever been found making this a formidable opponent in any battle
