A crisp, pretty sparrow whose bright rufous cap both provides a splash of color and makes adults fairly easy to identify. Chipping Sparrows are common across North America wherever trees are interspersed with grassy openings. Their loud, trilling songs are one of the most common sounds of spring woodlands and suburbs.
Only a few stations in the Berlin subway system have ceilings this high. This station's ceiling is high because two lines intersect here at different levels. The second line runs through the trough visible above the train.
Opened in 1926, the station is part of the Berlin subway network with a large clearance gauge. Berlin also has an older subway network with a much smaller clearance gauge.
The train is a Class F87, built by Waggon Union in 1986.
I'm sure that, at some point in our lives, we as human beings dreamt of making history; accomplishing something great and doing something with our lives. After all, we only live once, right?
Well, as some of us run around "making history", some stand on the sidelines of time, even of the world, baring in mind one dream, and one dream only: TO SURVIVE THE DAY!
This "Human" is one of many, whom are for us invisible, whom life enforced on them a dream of making it through the day. I met him at a gas station as he was trying to sell me a "Meswaak", which is basically a tree stock used to clean the mouth. He was holding a bunch of 'em and walking around in the heat of the noon (some 45 degrees Celsius!).
I wonder how tough is it to walk in his shoes?
Speaking of his shoes, he wore worn out shoes wrapped with fabric because his feet were all worn out by the heat of the sun and hardships of life.
It's amazing how one man's sun is a bless, and a curse of another.

Der U-Bahnhof Rathaus Spandau ist der westliche Endpunkt der U7 und wurde 1984 im Stil von Rainer G. Rümmler eröffnet. Er besteht aus zwei Bahnsteigen mit insgesamt vier Gleisen, von denen bis heute jedoch nur die beiden inneren Gleise von der U7 genutzt werden. Es ist fraglich, ob die U2 von Ruhleben aus jemals bis Rathaus Spandau verlängert wird und die Vorratsbauten genutzt werden. Am südlichen Verteilergeschoss befindet sich eine Galerie mit sehr gutem Blick auf die große Bahnhofshalle. Ein Zug der U7 (Rudow-Rathaus Spandau) erreicht hier nach seiner einstündigen Fahrt quer durch Berlin mit dem F87 2836 an der Spitze seinen Zielbahnhof.
Wenn meine Lieblingsjahreszeit, der Frühling, geht ....

eine fahrt durch die östliche niederlausitz, über beeskow, weiter durch die mark nach berlin .... ich liebe diese umwege links -F87- und rechts -F96- der autobahn.
Op deze foto twee leuke auto's. Auto's voor liefhebbers, want zowel de Abarth 124 als de BMW M2 koop je niet als je niks geeft om auto's. Een aantal jaar geleden heb ik zelf eens in zo'n 124 Spider gereden en wat is dát tof speelgoed (voor volwassenen). Inmiddels heeft dat zelfde BMW - verantwoordelijk voor die toffe M2 - het stokje overgenomen van SsangYong wat betreft de 'lelijkste auto ter wereld'. De iX is een gedrocht, dat is een feit. Of zijn de i7 en XM nog erger? Zeg het maar.

Two nice cars in this picture. Cars for enthusiasts, because you don't buy both the Abarth 124 and the BMW M2 if you don't care about cars. A few years ago I drove a 124 Spider myself and what a cool toy (for adults) it is. Meanwhile, that same BMW - responsible for that cool M2 - has taken over the title from SsangYong with regard to the 'ugliest car in the world'. The iX is horribly ugly, that's a fact. Or are the i7 and XM even worse? You say it.
