On the 19th July 1973on the Leonora line, last narrow gauge train F41 & F44 ran 192 fast goods mixed train the last narrow gauge train from Leonora to Kalgoorlie ran with 14 bogies, AL88, ACL405 and ZJ359 for 303 tons.The last Leonora mixed is seen at Kalgoorlie Railway Station in July 1973. F44 on a passenger train on Bunbury bridge, this is actually closer photo of an earlier one I posted. Its a long train for a single F at least 11 carriages!. Joe Moir photo.

Painted in the Greentrains scheme F40 is stored out of use in the compound at Midland on 13-7-08.

Four F class are preserved including this one which was sold to a private buyer in 2010, the other 3 are :

Dereham Coachways ceased trading earlier this year. On 17th December, 2007, I snapped Volvo B10M-60 Van Hool Alizee F44 GTO in London, The coach had been new to Tellings Golden Miller as F811 TMD; the registration had previously adorned a former Skills Volvo Paramount.
