The ferrari f430 is surely one of the best Ferrari' machines and even with the launch of its successor in 2009 the Ferrari 458 Italia that erased its luster a bit but not completely.

The Ferrari F430 is a sports car produced by the Italian automaker Ferrari from 2004 to 2009, as a successor to the 360. It debuted at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. European left-hand drive sales began in November 2004, but right-hand drive sales did not start until Spring 2005, and the North American market did not get the F430 until Summer 2005.

The F430's all-aluminum chassis was produced in partnership with Alcoa and is virtually identical to that of the previous model, the Ferrari 360. In the F430 it has been slightly re-worked and improved with extra stiffening beams around the floor pan. The car shares parts with the 360, including the roof, doors, front windshield, and passenger compartment-to-engine glass. Internally, both cars are referred to with the same model number (F131), although the F430 has the Evoluzione tag attached to show that it features some major changes. Internally, the car is simply known as the "Evo".

The F430 Spider is the convertible version based on the coupé. The F430 Spider is Ferrari's 21st road going convertible. The Spider is—just like the coupé—quite similar in looks to the Ferrari 360.

The roof panel automatically folds away inside a space above the engine bay. The conversion from a closed top to an open-air convertible is a two-stage folding-action. After a short to and fro the entire top disappears into a closed storage area between the seating and the engine.

The interior of the Spider is identical to that of the coupé.

One half of the 'Fire and Ice' Theme, the Ferrari F430 Berlinetta.

Screaming V8, mid-engined and aggresive beauty, this is one Fiery Stallion.

This is one of the Ferrari's from my Lego 'grey age'. Its amazing what a few curve pieces can do. Stay tuned for an upload of a circa 2000 build of the F430 predecessor, the F360 for comparisson.

Simply some of the worst lighting I've ever shot in. Stunning car though, one I saw back in NYC way back last year.

I've shot this at the Nationaal Oldtimer Festival 2013 on Circuit Park Zandvoort. Hundreds of classic cars from all kinds of marques showed up. There were classic races on the track, free tracktime for anyone who wanted a go, a huge Porsche Paddock, various Bulls in honour of Lamborghini's 50th anniversary year and a demonstration by Indian Pete and his Peterbilt Jettruck (2 Phantom F4 turbine engines developing a whopping 12000 HP).

Take a look at the rest of the photo's I took at the Nationaal Oldtimer Festival here:

Great looking F430 on a nice place.

Serving as the successor onto the Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia was unveiled by Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. Aimed to compete with cars like the Porsche RS-models and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, meaning super light weight, it is lighter (by 100 kg/220 lb) and more powerful (515 PS (508 hp/379 kW) at 8500 rpm) than the standard F430. Increased power comes from a revised intake, exhaust, and an ion-sensing knock-detection system that allows for a higher compression ratio. Thus the weight-to-power ratio is reduced from 2.96 kg/hp to 2.5 kg/hp. In addition to the weight saving measures, the Scuderia semi-automatic transmission gains improved "Superfast", known as "Superfast2", software for faster 60 millisecond shift-times. A new traction control system combines the F1-Trac traction and stability control with the E-Diff electronic differential. The Ferrari 430 Scuderia does 0–60 miles per hour (97 km/h) in 3.1 s and 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 198 miles per hour (319 km/h).

The cosmetic differences between the 430 Scuderia and the F430 upon which it is based include a re-styled front fascia, modified side-skirts, twin exhaust tips, a revised rear diffuser design, 19" wheels designed specifically for the 430 Scuderia, carbon-fibre wing mirrors, carbon-fibre challenge grille, two racing stripes along the middle and the 430 Scuderia badge.

Sorry about the grain in my last few shots.
