A little drop of water with reflection on a petal, in the eye of the photographer a macro miracle...while someone else doesn't see it....

I find flies to be amazingly beautiful creatures, even if they can be annoying at times.
Happy Macro Monday!

Doubtful if anyone would think chess pieces to be ugly, but perhaps they're only seen as beautiful by those who understand them.

My paper tulips, they don't smell the tulip fragrance
and they have an ugly texture compared to real tulips.

Chrysopa perla, known commonly as the green lacewing, is an insect species belonging to the family Chrysopidae (subfamily Chrysopinae).
At first I thought it was not alive and then I saw it was cleaning its legs.

I like bugs and think this one in especially attractive, not a view held by all!
The Euphorbia plant has meaning for one eye of the beholder; my husband. A few years ago he thinned out a patch of them in our garden - without his gardening gloves and some of the milky sap got into eye. There followed a very painful visit to our local hospital A&E Department!

Taken for the Macro Monday theme of beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I really don't find them beautiful but they obviously do judging by the ever increasing number of snails attacking my garden plants!
I found a beauty in old, dry pods of Chinese lantern plants. The colour faded, the leaves broke, but there is still so much beauty in them.
They are at least 3 years old. I was about to throw them out.
