that in most ways does not look much different than a painter’s extremely fast work on canvas. It reveals feelings and emotions, expressing gesturally, sometimes with large brush strokes, sometimes dappling with dripping paint onto canvas. The end result is characterized by a strong dependence on what appears to be accident and chance. It is up to the photographer to spot and seize the opportunity :-)

All my wishes are becoming real...

And i wished for self destruction.

Looking up at a new building at Canary Wharf in East London.

I took an image of graffiti painted inside a culvert and used the colors to re-create the meanings of the tags. I don't know if the original words or symbols spoke of violence or vulgarity, but by restructuring the elements used by the original artists, my intent here is turn their hurt into heart.

Peacock Beauty

An Abstract Expressionism painting of an Peacock bird beauty in the flowers. Where cobalt green, lavender, grey, yellow, pink-orange, black is applied in forceful, rapid, and impulsive brush strokes. The paints are splashed, poured and flung directly onto the canvas in a dynamic and uncontrolled manner. Jackson Pollock painting style.

Another photo of this apartment building facade in Barcelona, Spain. It was inspired by the building opposite, Gaudi’s wavy La Pedrera. Facade architect:: Toyo Ito.

Another photo of the Hexagon Tower, Manchester.

This building was completed in 1973 for ICI.

For 50 years this Brutalist building’s facade was of concrete. The facade was over-clad with insulated aluminium rainscreen in 2023/2024, retaining the hexagonal shape of the original structure’s windows.

The 14-storey tower was named after the hexagon shaped windows based on the chemical compound Benzene, which is widely used in the creation of synthetic dyes.

Original architect was Richard Seifert.
