Here's a broad-tail hummingbird approaching evening primrose with back-light in the morning at Cherry Creek State Park, Colorado. I love the translucent wings.
Loch Linnhe is a sea loch on the west coast of Scotland. The part upstream of Corran is known in Gaelic as An Linne Dhubh (the black pool, originally known as Loch Abar), and downstream as An Linne Sheileach (the salty pool). The name Linnhe is derived from the Gaelic word linne, meaning "pool"
Loch Linnhe follows the line of the Great Glen Fault, and is the only sea loch along the fault.[2] About 50 kilometres (31 mi) long, it opens onto the Firth of Lorne at its southwestern end. The part of the loch upstream of Corran is 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) long and an average of about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) wide. The southern part of the loch is wider, and its branch southeast of the island of Lismore is known as the Lynn of Lorne. Loch Eil feeds into Loch Linnhe at the latter's northernmost point, while from the east Loch Leven feeds in the loch just downstream of Corran and Loch Creran feeds into the Lynn of Lorne. The town of Fort William lies at the northeast end of the loch, at the mouth of the River Lochy.
Playing around after a day of walking through old Montreal. The lights in the restaurant associated with our hotel were accented by the glow of a pink-purple neon light tube which snaked around the room near the ceiling. The colors reflected in the crystal hanging at the bottom drew my attention.

this one is SOOC...i did try making some edits in PS, but any changes just left the photo looking harsh and I wanted to retain the original soft and dreamy qualities.
Food for thought, 1900's through present.
In the "late" 1800s to "early" 1900's main travel was horseback, steam trains and very early automobiles all of which were "very" slow in transportation speed!!
And now, we travel the "world over" every day none stop in hours....
We explore space and travel there on regular basis...
We fly the skies with the simplest of drones so many like locast to the jets so fast and high they are unseen and automobiles of all kinds of which even driving themselves now covering the streets like ants!!
No other time in history's existence has there been such an explosion in man's knowledge and yet......I ask what have we lost?
What have we become!!
What has happened to our morals!!
What have we done to our home family unit!!
What have we done to our planet!!
What have we done to our respect, for each other, our families, for ourselves but most of all God our father!!
I don't know but it seems we really are "not" as smart as we think we are? Just some thinking from your photography friend, with no disrespect meant...

Right near to our hotel at Khao Lak there was a plastic pier at the beach and it remind me to another location at Krabi especially a stay at Railay. So it inspired me to take this photo upside down by my Mavic 3 Pro. Also it reminds me to a song by Apache 207 with the title "Boot" with really funny and self ironic lyrics.
