“Early Lunar Base
One concept, by the U. S. Army Engineers for early lunar base construction consists of prefabricated modules which would be buried below the moon’s surface for heat insulation and protection against radiation and meteorites.

“The lunar outpost is required to develop and protect potential United States interests on the moon; to develop techniques in moon-based surveillance of the earth and space, in communications relay, and in operations on the surface of the moon; to serve as a base for exploration of the moon, for further exploration into space and for military operations on the moon if required; and to support scientific investigations on the moon.”
Depending upon who gets their first, the U.S. might want to consider similar verbiage for a future mission statement, and dust off/update the content highlighted at the Army Historical Foundation website.

Regulars may remember that several years ago, an exploration followed Dorset's River Frome from source to mouth. In this photo, not far from Maiden Newton Station, our new exploration along the route of the Bridport Railway branch line crosses the route of the R. Frome exploration.
To the top and right, the embankment of the railway line can be seen under which the river flows. Adjacent and In the foreground, an old public right-of-way bridge crosses the Frome. More or less in the middle of the photo, a sluice gate can also be seen that can regulate the flow depending on the weather conditions though how often it is still used I do not know.
Incidentally, running along the valley is part of the Macmillan Way, a 290 mile / 470 kms trail from Boston, Lincolnshire to Abbotsbury, Dorset. It is named after the Macmillan Charity dedicated to cancer relief.

I also have a set of arms and some tanks/cilinders to attach to the landing frame but In the end I liked it better without those.
I don't think I can make it much better than this, it took 4 prototypes to make me satisfied.
