So at last, we're on our way all together for an exploration of the Mumbles and Oystermouth, the area towards Swansea. The whole of the 5 mile seafront between the Mumbles and Swansea is attractive and there is greenery most of the way along, with parks here and there. This isn't far from our apartment. Tim stops to give Harbie a treat.

Bruges / Brugge is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is located in the northwest of the country. Bruges has most of its medieval architecture intact. The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site of UNESCO.
Along with a few other canal-based northern cities, such as Amsterdam, it is sometimes referred to as "The Venice of the North".

This is my first editted image from my new project which is based on Urban Explorers. Instead of the usual taking photos of the desolation i am turning the camera onto these explorers.

This is the starting point for Roald Amundsen’s expeditions to the North Pole. You can still see the mooring mast that the airship “Norge” was docked with. This was also the starting point for the dramatic North Pole expedition of the Italian Umberto Nobile, whose airship crashed when returning from the pole point. Half of the onboard crew died in the crash, but Nobile miraculously survived the crash and was later rescued.
One single long exposure. No photoedition : straight out of the camera except for contrast/crop.

While shooting this I realized I wanted something with a Coraline feel to it. Especially the song Exploration from the soundtrack. Possibly one of my most favorite sound tracks ever.
If you were to like and/or share my Facebook page, I wouldn't be mad ;)

[FR] Orage éphémère de début novembre qui aura quand même délivré quelques jolies décharges en mer comme celle-ci avec un beau reflet dans l’eau de la Méditerranée.
[EN] Short lived thunderstorm in early November which will have nevertheless delivered some pretty discharges at sea like this one with a beautiful reflection in the water of the Mediterranean.
During a late night walk in the park I found this old tunnel leading to the old catacombs under the city. I’m not really dressed for an urban exploration right now but I’m just so curious I have to see where this leads….
