Here you find images of the urban paranoia ...aka the metropolis of Sheffield, that are of nature based in inner-city landscapes with the out of the place bucolic landscapes along with empty abandoned buildings. most people ignore them as they are not something that bothers them. however some people don't ignore them and they are called urban explorers. i have been exploring the urban metropolis of Sheffield most of my life but have only recently (from 2000) started to take a camera with me, also sometimes you will find images of people and gigs

Urban exploration, urbex or UE, is the examination of the normally unseen or off-limits parts of human civilization. Urban exploration is also commonly referred to as Infiltration, although some people consider Infiltration to be more closely associated with the exploration of active or inhabited sites. In the USA, it may also be referred to as reality hacking, "urban spelunking", and "urban caving."

NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit is approaching an outcrop dubbed "Methuselah," which scientists intend for the rover to examine in detail for several days before resuming an uphill climb. This false-color view is assembled from frames taken by Spirit's panoramic camera on the rover's 454th martian day, or sol (April 13, 2005). It shows a region in the "Columbia Hills" slightly downhill from the rover. The view features two interesting outcrops in the middle distance and "Clark Hill" in the left background. The outcrop on the right, with rover tracks leading from it, is "Larry's Lookout." On the left is the Methuselah outcrop, with apparent layering. This view combines images taken through the camera's 750-nanometer, 530-nanometer and 430-nanometer filters.

Curated by Andy McGivern, the seventy objects comprising “Explorations in Wood” are a small sample of the work held in the collection of Philadelphia’s Center for Art in Wood, gathered over a forty-year period. The works stem from a love of wood and display a variety of wood types. Processes are varied, too, including wood-turned vessels as well as more sculptural forms. The exhibition is proof that The Center for Art in Wood encourages an international roster of artists to not only explore the many facets of wood; the Center also continues to challenge artists to discover the inherent and dynamic possibilities of the medium.

Entrepôt ? Atelier ? Nous n'avons pas encore pu trouver l'origine de ce site ... Tout ce que nous savons c'est que cette immense étendue de hangars est un lieu de prédilection pour l'airsoft et les graffeurs ...

Those little fingers do love exploring.
