Mid-summer in Hawkshead, and we came across these pollen loaded grasses, that just needed a slight touch to explode and fill the air. Apologies to any hay-fever sufferers.
This was a definite 'rush job' ! Client ordered it for NEXT Friday but rang me on Wed night to say his wife had changed the date of her party to THIS Friday. Thank goodness I was able to scrounge to find board etc - had planned on doing cake shopping NEXT week.

365 Day 12th Feb -Saturn Explodes-
This photo is one of my fav's I have done so far this year, water-drops on a DVD and is a stack of around 40 Photos to maintain focus in the depth of field/view. I noticed the DVD at this angle looked a little like Saturn so I wanted to give it a blast ;)

Coming out of the Marina Restaurant on the West River in Brattleboro, Vermont, the sky was electric with flashes of distant lightning illuminating the clouds. No thunder, but a great light show.
At Brickfest PDX 2004, I convinced the people who competed in the original ISD Speed Build to pitch the completed model off the top of a large ledge in the lobby of the venue. Amazingly enough, they agreed.

Exploding Minds is a drawing I did to portray how much information a brain holds. Sometimes after a long day you feel as though your brain cannot physically hold any more thoughts. The drawing is suppose to depict a person pulling their face apart in shock, and looking above to see their head exploding. The drawing can also depict how I think creatively and always think outside the box to do so.

Abstract shot from the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney. Reminds me of this song for a number of reasons.
"Bless my cotton socks I'm in the news
The king sits on his face but it's all assumed
All wrapped up the same
All wrapped up the same
They can't have it
You can't have it
I can't have it too
Until I learn to accept my reward"
Reward, The Teardrop Explodes (1981)
This was not even such a long exposure (2s) but I got so much in this shot

No.. This is not Photoshopped Fire!
Glass with water and some petrol, set alight and a stone dropped in it.
I Only had one chance of a shot with this as the Garden and nearly the camera were set on fire.... and id also run out of glasses from previous photos.
Ive slightly blurred the edge of the background to remove some water stains from a previous attempt.
Ive never seen this tried before...... and i kind of know why, now!
