In September 2015, Het Entrepot will place several young volunteers in a Bruges cellar where they will spend four days hacking into their home town’s DNA and thrashing out their dreams for Bruges. And all this under the watchful eyes of the outside world as cameras record the entire 4-day project.
They will brainstorm with each other but also have the help of various experts on the subject. Each day will close with an evening programme for the public. You are welcome to join in the debate on their ideas.

A young man juggles meels (wooden clubs) during a Zurkhaneh (house of strength) performance in Imam Square (Naqsh-e Jahan Square) in Isfahan, the capital of Isfahan Province, Iran. The rituals performed in the Zurkhaneh originated 2,000 years ago during the Parthian era, and incorporate martial arts, calisthenics, strength training and prayers. Practitioners manipulate heavy wooden clubs called meels and steel weights to ritual drumming, singing and recitation of mythic poetry and stories. Movements include Sufi twirling and juggling. The practice was inscribed as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2010.
