Exhibition "Martin Parr. Early Works" at f³ - freiraum für fotografie in Berlin

The "HOLLYWOOD" exhibition at the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin shows various works by 12 different photographers. Always in the haze of HOLLYWOOD, the life of the stars - officially or privately and numerous secondary motifs.
Hollywood is a brand and a myth, for decades it has been an illusion machine that is second to none. Images of artists and ordinary people or lost souls who eventually ended up in this world of Hollywood to find happiness and then fell by the wayside. All around Hollywood works and photos of great photographers are shown here. I'm only showing a small selection here that impressed me the most.

Starting with Anton Crobijn.
ANTON CORBIJN, Anton Johannes Gerrit Corbijn van Willensward (born May 20, 1955 in Strijen, Netherlands) is a Dutch photographer, film director and author. While Newton has dedicated himself to the fashion, women and film worlds, Corbijn is active in the music and film worlds. From Tom Waits to the Rolling Stones to U2, from Bon Jovi to Frank Sinatra, from Bryan Adams to Luciano Pavarotti and last but not least Joy Division. He was art director at U2 and Depeche Mode. Countless record covers in the world come from his camera. Just as many music videos come to his account. Photo books Backstage of many artists and biographies.

Two more weeks left to see my second piece titled "You Have Small Braids Like Spider Threads", 2016 that have been curated into the ART214, a City-wide juried exhibition organized by the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) and presented during 2018 Dallas Arts Month.
The first piece "On The Edge Of Passing", 2015 was exhibited at the Bath House Cultural Center from March 24th through April 21st, and the second one is in Oak Cliff Cultural Center from April 28th through June 1st, 2018 in Dallas, Texas, U.S.
Four OCA facilities, the Bath House Cultural Center, the Latino Cultural Center, the Oak Cliff Cultural Center and the South Dallas Cultural Center, are joining forces to organize a multi-venue juried exhibition that will showcase the works of artists who live in Dallas and in the Greater North Texas region.
ART214 is a four-section collaborative exhibition that gives the citizens of Dallas an opportunity to discover and enjoy the work of talented local and regional visual artists. Each of the partnering cultural center brings its own audiences, artists, communities and history. By scheduling connected dates to display a different section of the show at each center, as if presenting “four chapters of the same book,” the ART214 exhibition creates a unique opportunity for the public to visit all the centers during Dallas Arts Month, while also promoting collaboration and cross-pollination of artists and audiences.

"AND THEY SAY OF HER WOMAN"
DEC 10-11, 2015
The Chocolate&Art show
Dallas, TX
I made a special brochure about my exhibition "THEY SAY OF HER WOMAN". This is how it looks like inside. Now, you can see clearly that I selected two works from my most feminine series to be displayed at The Chocolate&Art show event. I really wanted people to read the poetry and understand better the origin of my self-portraits.

Jahrhunderts.

A poster experiment for the unique art of Fernando Botero who's works are innovative, a little whimsical... and almost always surprising. Starting background compliments of iTkuPiLLi. Collage elements from Mr.Whiskers, Holliewood, iIkuPiLLi. Texturing, layering, brush effects added in Photoshop

Bamboo Barnes - Emotion Trimmed in Reds
Bamboo is a self taught artist from Japan. Her outstanding work is highlighted in shades of red to enhance its impact and inner meaning. As you view the art you may experience the beauty and the pain in her heart and soul. Bold reds and lighter shades of red - all are expressing a moment of reflection into her emotions. Come to Visions of Beauty Galleries to immerse your self in her work, and also return on July 9th at 10 AM SLT to listen to the live music of KATIA Portugal as you dance through the art exhibit. KATIA sings a variety of songs and her voice is so pleasing.
