BN F9A 790 leads an A-B-B-A consist pouring out exhaust as they head west with train 157 west of Boylston, Wis. on Sept. 30, 1979. The stock cars were in MOW service carrying ties, but they make an interesting sight.
Trying to finish my new house and clean everything... I'm exhausted. +___+
Sunday of hard work, but I know it's for a good reason! ^____^

These are leaves from the predominantly oak and beech area you see in the background of Pyrotechnics, just a week later. Job done for the year, any nutrients not used by the trees go back into the ground and the cycle starts over again...
Exhausted!

Kentmere 100 in Tetanol Ultrafin (1:20 @ 68 deg for 11 min)
-- Save a few bucks by using the bigger rolls. Thought I had enough cassettes to load 400' but came up a few shy. Tiring though, even when sparsed out over several sittings.
Using the last few frames. Ha, ha, first time I've used a self timer to actually take a picture! I'm tasked with using up the remainder of the Kentmere in the house. Mary doesn't like the film, even though she grew up in the UK. Seems sort of unnatural, unpatriotic even.

I can empathise with the apparent exhaustion here, fatigue is one of my Long Covid symptoms and it now takes me a few days to recover from a street shoot. Delayed onset post-exertional malaise is common and can occur 12-72 hours after activity. For me it's an all encompassing tiredness. A complete lack of strength and energy. Falling asleep after just 2 hours in the day while drinking coffee, completely unable to keep my eyes open. I'm one of the luck ones, most with PEM are more drastically affected and can't even get out of bed.
I hope that your week is going well my Flickr friends. Take care and take photos.
A large swath of tall grass has begun to envelop a derelict RV and a classic Edsel car as an eastbound RJ Corman empty coal train roars upgrade with clouds of exhaust and sand along the Loup Creek Subdivision near Harvey, WV, on the morning of October 25, 2019.
The viewpoint here is the overbridge in Langton Court Road, St. Anne's, Bristol, looking towards Newbridge Road on the morning of Tuesday 07 September 2021. The cutting here was formerly the site of Bristol No. 1 Tunnel. In this scene Class 66 loco no. 66051 operated by DB Cargo leads 6M15, the Tytherington (0707 hrs) to Calvert loaded stone working. I watched this train pass through Bristol East Yard and the loco seemed to be struggling with the load, moving slowly and leaving a filthy trail of diesel exhaust behind it. As the train entered the cutting it met the early morning backlight, and this, together with the diesel pollution, combined to produce the atmospheric haze seen here.

It's taken on a photo walk with my dear friends Matthias Stiefel and capture the moment (Wolfgang). Was real fun, gentlemen!

She'd been at it for hours...all day....the sun had fully transited the sky without her notice. Her muscles screamed at her to stop....and she fairly collapsed to the floor, her chest rising and falling as she finally took a break. It took nearly everything she had left to lift her feet up to the barre....but the light breeze blowing around her legs make it worth the exertion.
Dandy hanging out in the shade after 30-40 minutes of fetching the ball. 60 degree weather in Tulsa today. Beautiful winter solstice day!
After clearing a 15 MPH slow order just west of Bennett, the engineer on UP 1943 throttles up in order to get back to track speed. In an interesting role reversal, the two EMD SD70ACes kick out a lot of exhaust when throttling up, while the GE in between burns clean through the acceleration.

The cousins have left and Tofu needs to recover. He behaved well with Charlie and Leo but their presence still disturbed his normal routine. I think he enjoyed the fact that I mainly pointed the camera at other feline photo models, though. Bad news, Tofu, the holidays are over now and it's your turn again ! :)
