Lemonade Life

For a long time, I hated working out. Aw, who am I kidding? I still hate working out. But for a long time, one of the main reasons I hated it was because of what it did to my blood sugars. Sometimes I would go high, sometimes I would go low. Nothing I ever did seemed to help. Mostly I went high, and I could never figure out how to prevent this. So one day, I decided to wear my insulin pump while working out. Just slid it into my sport bar where it stayed put during my cardio, stretches and (occasionally) weight-lifting. I started noticing that I wouldn't go high, and would rarely go low unless I ate something and took insulin before working out. For the most part, if I start a workout around 150 or higher, I'll see a nice little drop followed by smooth sailing all the way through. I like ending my work out at a magic number. Makes me feel productive.

The system provides a suite of software applications and end-user devices similar to smart phones and tablets which allow personnel to easily share information and help maintain a common operating picture during response operations. The exercise also provided a collective training opportunity for the CERFP responding to role players with simulated injuries and was the first-ever employment of a dry radiological decontamination process.Read more at go.usa.gov/xEVcu. I got up early today so I could hit Target and a few other stores before the crowds set in. Yesterday I made the mistake of going to a Target in the middle of the day and it was absolute chaos--I didn't even finish my shopping, I just had to get out of there. So today I went to the stores early, came back and put on my gym clothes to get ready for a workout. A few hours later, I'm still lying on the couch watching Mission Impossible III. I am hoping to get motivated soon...hopefully before Sunday is over.
