“I still wondered if any of it was real, At least the pain felt real and I was in hell, By now there was no point repenting it, The sin committed was grievous I realized, No Punisher will take it easy & forgive me, Here the executioner was my own inamorata…. Never did I think world could be so cruel.”

The pride not only of Šariš, but also of the whole of Slovakia is the ancient town of BARDEJOV, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful Slovak towns. It was included in the UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage List in 2000. Bardejov has also a fitting nickname – “the most gothic town in Slovakia”.
The picturesque square with colorful burgher houses, the majestic Basilica Minor of St. Egidius, the Jewish suburb, the historic town hall, the Executioner's House, well-preserved city walls with bastions ... A huge number of valuable and remarkable monuments in a relatively small area. The city center is formed by the Town Hall Square surrounded on three sides by 46 burgher houses on narrow medieval plots. In the middle stands the Basilica Minor of St. Egidius, in front of which is located the original pair of bells Ján and Urban. The bells were originally placed in the bell tower of the Basilica’s tower. The old bells got damaged over time, so they were replaced by new castings. The Basilica of St. Egidius was built in the middle of the 14th century and contains a unique collection of 11 late Gothic winged altars. Feeling like climbing a flight of stairs? The tower of the basilica offers the most beautiful views of the city.

There are a few theories as to how the bridge got its name. The first one involves the prisoners that walked across the bridge on their way to the executioner. The prisoners would "sigh" as they crossed the bridge, probably catching their last glimpse of the outside world, many believed.
Another story says that if a couple kisses under the bridge Bridge of Sighs, Venicewhile drifting below on a gondola at sunset, they will enjoy eternal love. Thus, the "sighs" are said to come from lovers who are overwhelmed by the romance of the whole scene. This romantic view was created by the Poet Lord Byron with his writings: "I stood in Venice on the Bridge of Sighs, a palace and prison on each hand"
...and what'll you do now, my blue-eyed son?
And what'll you do now, my darling young one?
I'm a-goin' back out 'fore the rain starts a-fallin'
I'll walk to the depths of the deepest dark forest
Where the people are many and their hands are all empty
Where the pellets of poison are flooding their waters
Where the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison
And the executioner's face is always well hidden
Where hunger is ugly, where souls are forgotten
Where black is the color, where none is the number
And I'll tell and speak it and think it and breathe it
And reflect from the mountain so all souls can see it
And I'll stand on the ocean until I start sinkin'
But I'll know my song well before I start singin'
And it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, and it's a hard
It's a hard rain's a-gonna fall
Bob Dylan 1962

This is one of my artworks in the series PUPPETS created in collaboration with Eli Medier that gave them a soul with his magical words
We are climbing
on scales of gods
to catch the highest light
of the temple
Who will understand
unfathomable silences
the existence
The days fell
end caught us
eyes wide open
to the sky
for an impossible answer
Along land meadows
green waves
caress illusions
of new loves
unaware of us
and of the executioner

The pictures in my mind, when I heard about the name of this spot, went far more further than the reality was. Here You see the Hangman’s Tower and the Hangman’s Bridge. No, here never took place an execition. When the tower lost its functions as city fortification the executioner of the city of Nuremberg used to live in the rooms of the tower.

I am a lumberjack
I was born behind the mill
I had a garden
That was growing with me
Years later a black smoke in the sky
The Inquisition
Burned my forest with fire, my forest
In the region of his majesty
Everyone repeats what the king says
He gives them water, gives them wine and bread
But later the law charges
That's why I live away
Of the throne and the dragon
I'd rather be forgotten
Before jesting
I am a lumberjack
A woodcutter without a forest
I've seen the executioner kill the minstrel
And to the heretics wanting to escape
Listen to me mother, I ask you to
Before it's too late it starts to rain
Inquisitors who are going to make me
If I don't want to lean at your feet anymore
I am a woodcutter since my childhood
And although I have no forest
Dream with trees
And although I have no forest
Dream with trees
`I'll fetch the executioner myself,' said the King eagerly, and he hurried off.
The look of the King is inspired to the great Sarah Sitkin.

Legend: The quintuple leaf symbolizes the hand of the executioner, but also of the five continents in which Christianity is proclaimed.
The leaf of the passion flower represents the spear that was inserted into Jesus' side. And the dark spots under the leaves are the 33 pieces of silver that Judas received as a reward for betraying Jesus.
Whenever villains decide to work together the locals are gonna have it rough; however, when the two teaming up are the "Android Assasin" Synapse and the "Enhanced Executioner" Qalon, the WHOLE WORLD may be about to pay the price.

"Pour Annick" by JOËLLE LÉANDRE, BENOÎT DELBECK & CARNAGE THE EXECUTIONER, in 'Tout Va Monter' (2015)
Here, in my DNA
A spider weaves my sorrows
And when his web turns into an executioner
It's the hecatomb...
Loggerhead Shrikes hunt by scanning the ground from elevated perches, then diving onto prey. They also hover-hunt. Loggerhead Shrikes sometimes hunt from the ground, flashing their wing patches in a manner similar to the Northern Mockingbird, to startle prey out of hiding. To immobilize large prey items, the Loggerhead Shrike impales them on sharp objects such as thorns and barbed wire, or tucks them into forks between branches. Caches of prey thus lain away, also called “larders” or “pantries,” provide food stores during winter when prey is scarce, or in breeding season when energy demands are high. A well-provisioned larder may also help a male shrike attract a mate. With it's hooked beak and predatory habits, it has acquired some ferocious nicknames: The Butcher Bird or, in Spanish, El Verdugo (The Executioner).
Did you really think
I'd just forgive and forget, no
After catching you with her
Your blood should run cold, so cold
You, you two timing, cheap lying, wannabe
You're a fool
If you thought that I'd just let this go
I see red, red, oh red
A gun to your head, head, to your head
Now all I see is red, red, red
Did you really just say
She didn't mean anything, oh
I'll remember those words
When I come for your soul, your soul
Know that you, you dug your own grave
Now lie in it
You're so cruel
But revenge is a dish best served cold
I see red, red, oh red
A gun to your head, head, to your head, oh
Executioner style, and there won't be no trial
Don't you know that you're better off dead
All I see is red, red,…
There will always be haughty snow
what a view the mount of ermine
and humble water that works
at the mill dam.
And there will always be a sun too
an executioner sun and friend
let the snow change into tears
and in cloud the water of the river.

The air hung thick with the scent of pine and damp earth. Lord Aerion, the master of these woods, sat upon a fallen log.
His forest was more than just trees to him; it was an extension of his own being. Every rustle of leaves, every chirp of a bird, every scurrying creature was a part of him, a thread in the tapestry of his soul.
The acrid smell of smoke on the wind twisted his lips into a snarl. He sensed the intrusion, the violation of his domain. Humans. They had dared to enter his woods with torches and axes, their greed blinding them to the ancient power they were disturbing...
