Exploring the principle of changing paper from a flat surface to one that is a 3D structure
The first is a challenge -- come up with the best options you can imagine.
The second is constrained -- come up with the most features within the contraints.
The final brainstorm is about aversion -- come up with the worst possible design imaginable. This last exercise is the most fun, it's silly, but many ideas here can be reversed and restated as requirements. (This is a good technique for getting past a creative block.)
Excercise#2 White object on white background 1/20 ISO 400 F4.0 AV +2. Eventhough the shutter speed is low because of EV+ the subject is little brighter.

Excercise books cost 100tsh or £0.05 however many of the children did not have them because their parents couldn't afford them, while some had them cut in half to share with their siblings. I bought the school 100 excercise books to distribute to the kids at a price of £5.
Thanks to Kelli Perkins for posting this exercise on the Sketchbook Challenge website. I really need inspiration to get back into drawing this month. I guess I should have gone over the directions again before starting in, I forgot to set a timer for 10-20 minutes. I'm sure this took longer, but that's okay, the time probably would have stressed me out.
