I made a trip to Chicago in January of 1989, during that trip we also went north to Green Bay as well as various other spots. One railroad on our list was the Wisconsin Central. We saw some SD45s in the Chicago area in fresh paint but when we went north while we saw some WC painted units we also saw units from Soo Line that had been transferred to the WC but had yet to be painted in WC colors. Seen here are two ex-Soo GP30s in Black Creek, WI
Ex works 08804 shunts the Furzebrook - Hallen Marsh LPG tanks in the sidings adjacent to Eastleigh LHS. These were tripped to East yard ready for the run down to Furzebrook for loading at the Whych farm on shore oil field, where the LPG was a bi-product.
Just noticed the red connecting rod between the wheels, normally painted yellow on most 08's.
A location and track layout largely unchanged in 2023, although the siding where the STVA cartic twins are sat is now lifted.

An ex-Conrail SD60M knocks down the signal at CP PAXTON on the NS Harrisburg Line as it leads a BNSF war bonnet and a Union Pacific SD70ACe on mixed freight 13R.
Go-South Coast (Damory) 1259 is former Go-Ahead London A/D Enviro400 EN46 and is seen on a School service in Corfe Mullen Dorset.

An unexpected spot on this Rail Replacement 'rally' was this Wright Streetdeck, originally new to Arriva in Kent for evaluation purposes.
As it has the Hallmark Connections legals, it would appear it is permanently allocated to the Heathrow base so begs the question of what it will be used on.
Ex Swedish now GBRf shed 66792 trundles through Newington on the Edinburgh Sub working the 6K20 Cathcart West Junction - Millerhill engineers train, formed of a rail drop set, with 66725 'Sunderland' on the rear.

Ex-BNSF SD70MACs QGRY 4017 & QGRY 4016 lead a Quebec Gatineau train as it leaves CP's St-Luc Yard and heads to their yard in Sainte-Thérèse. At this point they are on the CP Adirondack Sub.

Thanks to a timely headsup, I was able to sneak away from work for a few moments and nab this shot of yet another different kind of power passing the searchlights at Ferguson.
This ex-CSX recently turned leaser was probably a bit of overkill for the 3 cars that were returning to Luther as D67.
