Once an Adelaide city bus, converted to an Opal sorting machine, now a tourist attraction. Coober Pedy, South Australia.
Back in the late 1980s, AJ & NM Carr of Pluckley had just put into service this wonderful looking ex Yelloways Plaxton Panorama Elite bodied AEC Reliance. WDK 646K was, for a short while, a contemporary of their last ex Black & White Daimler Roadliner in service . . . the two having no doubt met up at Cheltenham when much younger.
A few days later, I was fortunate enough to capture the ex Yelloways Reliance at work on a private hire in Rye, with Mrs Carr at the helm (posted elsewhere on here). Oddly, whilst the Roadliner still exists in their yard, the AEC is no more. I think its remains were once resident in a famous Kentish dealer's yard.
Another ex Lothian ALX400 now with Aintree Coachline approaches Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Not sure why the blue livery or "Queensway" fleetname.
CSX M331 shoves back into Jessup yard to pickup some cars. Leading is the only ex-LMS C40-8W on the roster. CSXT 7929

Ex-LMS Kitson 0-4-0ST 47000 at Derby loco works, on a bright sunny day in 1962.
The loco entered service in 1932, and the design was replicated by BR, when some more examples were constructed at Horwich works in 1955.
47000 was withdrawn in October 1966, and scrapped in February 1967. None of the class were preserved.
The loco works closed down in the 1990s, but some parts of the site are still in use by engineering companies.
