The creeping thistles (Cirsium arvense) are flowering everywhere right now. They are very popular among bees and butterflies but I had never seen a cricket on it before. This great green bush cricket didn't stay put for long as the bee was too annoying.
I still remember this photographic moment. Wandering through my flower garden on a warm day, I noticed movement in some dried fronds of sword ferns. Then I was filled with happiness when I realized I was seeing baby spiders scurrying around. Eventually I discovered that these were Araneus (European garden spider or crowned orb weaver). I'm just pleased that I had this close encounter.
Baby crowned orb weaver spiders travel in the most interesting way. Do check out this link for more information...

The leaves have started turning bright red and are growing everywhere. They are so prolific in San Diego and they are one of my favorite plants.

The deer rut season has begun and there is a lot of movement in the deer population, which breaks down to mean, be careful driving or you will have one as a hood ornament for sure! This fellow was walking along the Skyline Drive last Sunday as calm as you please. I believe he is a 6 point buck and looking all handsome as he searches for the woman of his dreams.......

When's the last time you saw a picture of UP's famous "Potash local" going by large waterfall? Look directly above the lead unit and you'll see a the turbid, brown heavy flow of a tall waterfall feeding into the Colorado River. The often dry wash is rain swollen and you can see where the outflow is into the Colorado by the white bubbly water on the right side of the picture. A culvert carries the water beneath the Cane Creek branch and 279. Moab, UT 4/14/2023
Our flowerbed is overflowing with large daisies this time of year. They always make me smile while in bloom.

The snowdrops are the first messengers of spring in Hungary. On Tuesday we made a wonderful excursion in a nearby botanic garden, enjoying the sunshine and the 15 degrees C.

I feel you
In every stone
In every leaf of every tree
That you ever might have grown
I feel you
In every thing
In every river that might flow
In every seed you might have sown
I feel you
I feel you
In every vein
In every beatin' of my heart
Each breath I take
I feel you, anyway
In every tear that I might shed
In every word I've never said
I feel you
I feel you
In every vein
In every beatin' of my heart
In every breath I'll ever take
I feel you, anyway
In every tear that I might shed
In every word I've never said
I feel you
I feel you
Went to the cemetery today to leave Mothers day flowers on my mums grave and this little robin was watching. This is the 5th Robin Ive had near me since my mums passing in December. Love you mum ❤️
Once I realized street art was everywhere in Florence, I was more hyper-aware of looking for it. This artist's work was simple but heartfelt. I especially liked the black shoe prints on the wall, given that this artwork was 5 feet off the ground.
pls have a look at my Blog thanks soo very much ♥ //
