These wonderful flowers grow everywhere, never shying from a spot. We see them in the middle of a lawn, a field, or on the edge of the sidewalk. This bunch was literally at the curb of a wide street. I bent down and took this capture just as the sun was setting. The bunch came out to be a delight. They brighten one’s day even when it is dark. I wish you a bright and relaxing weekend.

Are tomatoes a fruit or a vegetable? Well, my internet research tells me that botanically they’re a fruit and nutritionally they’re a vegetable!
I had a really good crop of tomatoes last summer in my new greenhouse. I grew three varieties. Two varieties are to eat straightaway while their fruits are still fragrant, warm and sweet. One variety for the freezer. I love little everyday pleasures. Eating a handful of sweet tomatoes straight from the greenhouse is a real treat.
I chose the title at the time the only item on the UK news was Brexit. I’d swap back to Brexit any day in light of the Covid 19 tragedy.
