Crockpot Cookoff at the Bristol IN Library on Sat. Jan. 27, 2018. This new event organized by Director Carol Anderson and Staff Member Dawn Powell was a great success on Sat. Jan. 27, 2018. Judges were Tami DeLucenay, Dale Smedaker & Russ Johnson. Winners: Main Dish: Tie #4 Tessa Huddleson Loaded Potato Soup and #3 Vegetarian Chili Susie Meeks-Wade. Appetizer: Roger LeChef Mushrooms and Dessert 3-way-Tie of Kokesh Family: #3 Valerie Fritos Candy, Ray Apple Crisp and Alexendria Gooey Smores Candy. (Son Ben entered Cinnamon Roll Casserole but was not a winner).
Everybody's was a weekly magazine published by Everybody's Publications Ltd., 114 Fleet St., London EC4 (absorbed into Amalgamated Press in July 1950). Previously known as Everybody's Weekly & Competitors' Journal it went by the shorter name from 1 February 1930 to 25 April 1959. The style of lettering used here resembles that used on 1930s covers.
Viajeng Kusinang Matua Everybody's Cafe in Pampanga, a Second Look with Electrolux Discover-E Food Tour! I've been to Everybody's Cafe once before a long time ago. It was a crash course to Kapampangan cuisine I must say (one that I didn't quite find time to appreciate) and one that left me hungry. All I could remember was the camaro. This year, Electrolux Philippines took us on a food trip in Pampanga through the Viajeng Kusinang Matua (literally old kitchen tour) of TravelTales, Inc. It was a whole day trip of gastronomic adventures. It started with Atching Lillian's kitchen for breakfast then we headed to the Kabigting's for some morning merienda.
