Today I went to a doll event called Barbie, Bricks and Beyond and honestly it was soooo tempting to drop a ton of cash on a bunch of dolls but I tried to focus myself on getting stuff for what I already owned lol.
I got a Poppy Parker Mood Changer head, two Fashion Royalty dresses, a Dressmaker Detail dress, a Live Action PJ head, jointed Ken doll, Kocoum doll and this busted up Fashion Royalty doll with a wig.
I mainly got the red Jason Wu dress for my Modern Circle Melody, the black dress cuz it was $5 and the Poppy Parker head from this sweet Integrity Toys collector. She was helpful in explaining to me how to switch Poppy’s head but I was mentally thinking how great she’d look on a MTM body lol.
I got the busted up Fashion Royalty doll, PJ head, the two guy dolls and PJ head from the same guy I frequently buy stuff from on Ebay lol. He knew me so I got a few discounts here and there. I got the FR doll because she was INCREDIBLY cheap, though looking closer at her busted up joint I have no idea if it’s fixable :/
I plan to reroot Kocoum with flowing saran hair and give PJ a makeover to turn her into a Mod styled Midge.
I ended up getting a MTM Barbie on my way home because I knew there was no way I could stand having Poppy Parker be bodiless for too long lol.
Anyway, not the biggest doll show haul but I’m incredibly happy to get stuff I otherwise couldnt get…

Another shot courtesy of Flickr user m20wc51, taken in Korea in 1968-69 by Specialist Mueller. I don't quite know what we're seeing here, but other photos in the series seem to imply that five or six soldiers were brought by bus to this event, and Mueller thought it worth while to get shots of individual soldiers dismounting from the bus, followed by a group of shot of them lining up for whatever it was. One other shot appears to show them at tables enjoying a meal with the ladies. Note that the skin colour of the lady's legs is darker than her arms because she is probably wearing that new-fangled invention pantyhose. She also has a note-book and a pen, so she may be one of the organizers of this event, whatever it is.
The yellow plate on the bus tells us it is from Seoul area, and between the lights, two hanja (Chinese) characters and the hangeul characters to make an English word – 'beu-suh", that is, "bus."
Original shot can be found here for purposes of comparison. The shot was clean and only required minor detailing. Film stock unknown, but like a number of Mueller's shots, it fades down to emphasize the yellows and purples, with the blues tending to suffer.

The 4th SteineWahn happens in Berlin last weekend. There were so many great mocs. I just take my rounds to get them in picture. Unfortunately the light was´t that well, so i had to improve a bit with the pictures.
But enough said...lets have a look.
